Revisiting the past: Which former coach should United rehire?

The only manager with the capability of managing Manchester United was Mourinho but even then he was on a downward trend of success. Just goes to show how poor our managerial recruitment has been on top of player recruitment.

1. LVG (clear tactics, youth policy, shit transfers, mad lad)
2. McKenna (hindsight, on the back of what he has achieved at Ipswich)
3. Carrick (club legend, doing ok at Boro)

Jose is just too toxic. Olé was utterly shit. Moyes is too small time. Giggs (sadly ruined his legacy).

I'd take Ole today to see out the season.

And hope that after working together for some weeks it convinces the new powers that be to let him have a crack at next season.

How does he get West Ham to 8th with a weaker squad, if he had us at 10th or 12th then?

Same reasoning as how he managed to get champions United lower than the team he'd just left.

McKenna or Carrick, simply because we've seen the others try at the helm and fail.

With the current team and new structure definitely lvg, if given the right tools to work he would get us the closest to being to being able to compete with man city and there are quite a lot of current players that would benefit from being coached by lvg and top of that at least we will have a manager worth listening to in interviews and press conferences, the other managers were either uninspiring or moody.
