Reserves Vs Wigan - 18th Nov 2010

Christ on ice skates! That strike will shut up the blood thirsty media sections that were hoping he would be another Djemba signing for Fergie!

One thing about the boy is he can finish. United just need to polish the rest of his game.

The promise and ability is there. Just looks a little overawed by the 1st team at times...not surprising really given where he's come from to a 76,000 seater stadium.

Like a few others the goals will do his confidence no end of good

Cofie looks full of promise too...what a strike! You could hear the crossbar rattle

Cofie is immense at the minute and I really hope he can build on this season.

My son stood near him on the touchline when he scored a cracker for the reserves recently and said that he has unbelievable power

It's remarkable just how much power he gets onto a shot for someone with relatively skinny legs.

yeah that's definately something he doesn't lack. Big, strong, quick..he has everything about him to be a top striker at United. King, Cofie, Keane, Kiko...the future has to be bright. Thats the strongest group of young strikers we've had certainly in my life time.

Morrison is just such a class act. When he begins to involve himself fully in play, we could have an amazing player, here.

Exactly the same with Pogba to be fair, they both fade in and out of matches quite a lot, not seen either dominate a match, but when on the ball they look different class.

And obviously add Welbeck to that. Its a strong list that, obviously by the law of averages not all will make it but i wouldn't like to wager which ones. All very talented and all very different types of strikers too. Keane will go on loan soon i think and it'll be interesting to see how he gets along.

Pogue compared him to a young Sheringham. That at least would offer something different if he goes on to be a similar player

It's funny you say that because i thought i forgot someone and I completely forgot Danny :D. You have to believe a few will make it. All are potentially good enough because they're all 'good' players not just goalscorers. It will be interesting that's for sure
