Reserves Vs Newcastle - Monday 3pm

What if a racist remark was made , is he still an idiot? Obviously there wasnt anything like that but its all part of the learning curve for EVERY young player Im afraid.

Brady is probably alot worse than Morrison in this regard but havent seen any reaction like this to either of his red cards. funny that isnt it?

Btw, just received this peach of a PM from IM:

Take this muppetry to the main forum and leave the reserve/youth to sensible posters who don't want to indulge in petty name calling.

Frankly you're making an arse of yourself and treading on very shaky ground.

So who spots the approx 9 layers of irony then?

What an idiot! He's young enough, let's hope he learns from this.

Big loss

Well obviously we are disappointed that Morrison won't be playing against Chelsea.

Even more disappointing for me as I am going to watch that match in the stadium.

But lets look at what happened first before calling him an idiot?

Hopefully, we'll still be able to put up a fight and on a show. If Keane and Cofie recover in time, we'll have a very strong front 6.

To call Morrison an idiot despite not having seen the incident itself is just idiotic! We can all pass judgment later when we've seen the tackle... arguing over who is right or wrong now is pointless.

Just saw the red, Perch got very tight to Morrison with his back to goal and not receiving the ball, hard to see anything too untoward apart from blocking Morrison from turning. Morrison has a lazy kick out and catches his heel and Perch then turns around with Morrison walking towards him and grabs him by the throat and then a bit of handbags.

The ref prob could have just given yellows but by the letter of law correct. It's hard to really put any context to it as hard to know if anything happened before etc.

Just to note, the first assist was from Norwood, and the 2nd from Petrucci. Norwood nearly put Obertan away earlier but Obertan was penalised for barging over the defender (which looked 50/50 but he was stronger) when clean through.

Looked quite a good game in windy conditions and Newcastle will feel a little aggrieved to have lost. Two excellent finishes from Obertan though, the second in particular.

Was played behind closed doors. Not sure if the cameras were there

No.. 'behind closed doors' matches are played at the usual venues but spectators aren't allowed in to watch

Any help with where in the video the red cards are? At work and can't sit through the whole 25 min!

Tunnicliffe seems like a potential favorite. He pass and moves. I like that. But sometimes he needs to be more patient and try to read the game better.

More rhetorical than anything else... I really dont know why Oberton doesn't play the way he should when picked for the 1st team. It clear that he's way above his station at the Ressies level. A real mystery.
