Playing against Bury in the Lancashire Senior Cup tonight.

The match is on MUTV with coverage starting at 18:30.

I guess tonights line-up may point towards who will be involved on Wednesday night. From the team on Thursday, I would guess that Obertan, Bebe, and maybe De Laet and Eikrem won't be involved.

I will guess the team being:

Devlin
Vermijl, Wooton, R Brown, Gill
Ajose, C Evans, Tunnicliffe, Morrison, Brady
Keane

United's Lancashire Senior Cup campaign gets underway this evening when the Reds meet Bury at Gigg Lane.

Neither Gabriel Obertan nor summer signing Bebe have been named in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's 16-man squad, despite featuring in the Reserves' last run-out. Remember, though, that the first-team travel to Scunthorpe on Wednesday evening for a Carling Cup third round tie.

Tonight, Solskjaer will field a youthful side against the Shakers and looks likely to hand a debut to Belgian defender Marnick Vermijl. The match, which kicks off at 19:00 BST will be broadcast live on MUTV. Highlights will be available on MUTV Online at approximately 21:30.

United squad: Sam Johnstone, Marnick Vermijl, Oliver Gill, Corry Evans, Scott Wootton, Reece Brown, Cameron Stewart, Ravel Morrison, Nicholas Ajose, Magnus Eikrem, Robert Brady, Michael Keane, Conor Devlin, Ezekiel Fryers, Ryan Tunnicliffe, John Cofie

Lovely stuff. I reckon he's just the player our reserves have been missing these last few weeks. Hope he starts.

Disappointing that Eikrem is involved tbh - I think he really deserves a chance with the first team in the CC, though he could still feature on the bench

I thought he was excellent against Sheff United at the weekend. I said it at the time if he played against Villa last week the score wouldn’t have been 4-1

Gill’s renaissance may be over as well. Looked very poor on Sat. I thought. Not to be harsh but its only a matter of time till hes gone. Thorpe on the otherhand continues to improve.

So it's Obertan, Bebe and De Laet to be involved in the CC. Anyone else I'm missing?

Will this be streamed on that Simply Reds site again?

It lines up like this:

Sam Johnstone, Marnick Vermijl, Oliver Gill, Corry Evans, Scott Wootton, Reece Brown, Cameron Stewart, Ravel Morrison, Nicholas Ajose, Magnus Eikrem, Robert Brady

Subs:
Michael Keane, Conor Devlin, Ezekiel Fryers, Ryan Tunnicliffe, John Cofie

does anyone know if brandy and hewson have found new clubs ?

Bury's center back is a fecking beast, he's like 9ft tall.

Hewson is back at Moss Lane. signed for Altrincham 2 weeks ago. They are struggling at the bottom of the Conference.

Brandy hasn't signed for anyone as far as i know. Only one released this summer yet to find a club. everyone else is now employed

there was a slightly questionable report linking him to Doncaster and a couple of other champ clubs and also Toronto from the MLS.

thanks ...
