I say Macheda reminds a little a certain Francesco Totti... Temperament and physical resemblance...
And in terms of how he plays he isn't really comparable.
Can't say I see the resemblance, in temperament or appearance.
He's a straightforward tall, strong, target-man who can also play a bit. The only similarity he has with Totti is his nationality.
Wasn't it Petrucci that was being compared to Totti? Can't wait to see him play again, he's an excellent youngster.
I thought his nose was pretty much like Totti's, for instance... Impression obviously... I might be mistaken...
But, the temperament - Totti is supposed to be quite a hot-head as well... That's why I put that in as well...
That's a better comparison. Definite similarity in terms of style and (dare I say it) ability on the ball.

Of course, if you were basing the comparison purely on having a big nose and a fiery temprament he could be compared with pretty much every Italian footballer that's ever kicked a ball!
That's not far from the truth either... The thought the same in Rome about him. That is why they were real pissed we got him.
While I wouldn't for a minute compare Kiko with Totti in terms of playing style, you haven't seen enough of him if you're labelling him a 'straightforward tall, strong, target-man who can also play a bit'. He's no more a target man than Berbatov is (who would be quite a decent comparison in terms of playing style for my money).
I'd call Kiko a Berbatov with speed and work rate.
