Relegation Battle 2024/25

It's over now you would think, the current bottom three are toast.

The current bottom three are so garbage that it's hard to see who else could go down. I was briefly hoping Wolves go down and us getting Cunha on a cut price deal but doesn't look like it'll happen.

Yeah. We are now all 5 wins in front of the bottom 3. It's doable still mathematically but you just can't see it happening.

Unless Leicester beat West Ham tomorrow night it looks over already. Wolves changed the manager early enough, got a few wins and now look in good position. They travel to Southampton soon and that should be a win to move them further away from relegation zone. Everton and West Ham as well changed on time.

Ipswich and Leicester won’t suddenly change fortunes and win every other game. The bottom three is decided, with only Wolves really the ones close enough to get caught in the mix.

Southampton are obviously long gone as well.

In respect of us, in terms of points we’re closer to 3rd than 18th.

Bottom 3 in a weird position regarding managers.

Ipswich don't seem to want to change managers which is fair enough since McKenna is highly rated and he has credit in the bank because they have overachieved to get to the PL. Leicester probably pulled the trigger too soon with Cooper but he arguably shouldn't have been appointed in the first place and then they replaced him with someone they shouldn't have who they seemingly can't get rid of because of PSR. Southampton pulled the trigger too late and are now stuck in a place where it didn't really matter who the manager that came in was.
