Reece Oxford

Not sure how much of a good idea it would be for him to come here so early. Would need a few loans.

That's what I am thinking too, should have went to the championship then premier league the season after.
So the way every young british player goes?

Nah, good for him for trying somewhere abroad.

He is a talented player, good move if he grabs it with both hands, there is definitely game time there

Best of luck to him - always good to see British players trying to make it on the continent.

So Oxford gets linked in the press to a permanent move and one day later West Ham cancel his loan? I can picture the conversation which took place:

Moyes: Whose this Oxland chap they’re talking about on Sky Sports? Sounds like he’s going cheap, we should sign him.

Coach: Well he’s actually our player boss. Young chap who plays in defence. Has been described as the next Rio Ferdinand.

Moyes: It’s a pity he’s not the next Jagielka but still sounds like he’s probably better than James Collins. Get him back and I can show him some training videos.

I can actually picture Moyes' voice in my head saying what you've put above... Poor me eh.
