Come on mate. You know yourself deep down that you do like Predator indeed . You can still change your vote. Or at least do not vote for the most overrated movie in the history of universe.
Still remains a first and foremost action movie. Didn't Samsung use footage of 2001 for proof that Apple didn't invent the tablet? Doesn't get more sci-fi than that. In fact I can understand if somebody dislikes the dramaturgy or plot of 2001 but regarding pure sci-fi it's almost unprecedented and almost a shame it has to go into overtime here at the caf.
This probably shouldn't have been limited to one vote per category and just a set number of votes with the top 10 progressing. I definitely preferred multiple movies from one category over all movies in other categories.
Oh, it's one of the horror films! I hadn't even noticed its name cause I have just never heard of it. (I'm just really not into horror. I've heard of the other titles but have never seen them either.)
Well, OK then. Obviously a worthy classic and a particularly impressive directorial debut. Great how he channeled his skill of making shorts into a feature-length film. And you did say I'm a decent guy. Updated above.

Yeah I know... But I'll keep trying until the deadline. I genuinely adore that film. I watch so much horror that I'm desensitized to them but when I saw that on the cinema, it really unnerved me. Then realised it was a directorial debut... My mind was blown. Also read the screenplay and it's amazing how it's exactly the same as the film (they tend to normally be different, usually the ending gets a positive spin).

I loved Mad Max but The Raid has to be one of my top action films ever so I had to go for it... Especially when you read about the making of it .. very impressive.
