You don't always get matched against people in your own division, most of the time it's 1 up or down. Something to do with the match finding system.

In the latest episode of the United Hour Podcast, Nik (@Rood) and Imran (@Annihilate Now!) are here to discuss three 1-1 draws.
The first got us knocked out of the FA Cup, the next puts us in a good position in our Round of 16 Europa League game, and the latest was an actual decent performance against Arsenal at Old Trafford.
All hopes for the season now rest on the Europa League - does Amorim have the squad to win it?
Thought that was only Cup games? I am pretty sure you get matched up with the same division people in the league games. Well not 100% about this though.
You don't always. I've checked the record of some people I've played in 'division 1' and they have as many wins as losses, you don't get into D1 with a record like that (although I do manual only so they probably have to extend their search perimeters further than normal)

Thought mine were OK. Not sure what happened on your first, seemed to be some automatic movement by my defender and then you were clean through.Could of been 3-2 either way as you had a few 1v1's but managed to grind it out.
