I dunno about that. I couldn't get the ball. Your at level 27 I'm on level 2 and it showed

Maybe I need 50 or 60 friendlies before I take another league match on.

So pissed off with it and it's only a video game!!

Heh... you play much online? Some of the chaps on here have low levels but still kick my arse, as they're not that much online playing ranked matches.

Anyway, you already have a win this season, I don't... I was due one ;) And I can relate to the being pissed off :|
 
fecking Hell, United Fan... I feel aggrieved there, tbh... you spent a lot of the game frantically clearing, had three shots, two on goal... two goals, both headers, as opposed to my one goal in eight shots , six on target.

Badly taken advantage by me, I guess... and you should've had a red for that sinister tackle to Ibra at the end there to rob me of a clear 1-on-1, and probably a goal.

Dirty, but that's your prerogative. *grumble*

Let's look at the other factors, shall we? You picked AC Milan, I picked Roma - in terms of players it's a different class so I was never going to go gung ho and try and dominate the game, was I? I'm not critisicing you - everyone picks their own team, but at least mention the gulf in class between teams, yeah?

As for the shots, I took my chances and you didn't, that's football and it is also FIFA, too. If anything me frantically clearing for "most of the game" should benefit you because you keep getting possesion back and chances to score, so no idea what you're complaining about.

And, the sinister challenge? I mistimed pressing square as I wanted to clear, so make of it what you will - wouldn't have made too much difference in terms of the game, there were seconds left.

Instead of this BS though, I'd like to finish with a thank you for the game and a "cheers, well played". But you won't. That's your prerogative though. -Shrugs-
 
Just venting, mate... and how was I to know you didn't hack Ibra on purpose? That's how I would've summed up the match, and I didn't say you didn't have the right to apply whatever tactic you wanted? I also pointed out that I didn't take my chance, which you obviously did, so I do recognise that you did well... Re: Ibra, I recant the grumble, fine. But had I scored it would've made a clear difference, and it was a huge chance, so it left me feeling a bit aggrieved... I do take what you say at face value... I didn't mean to come off as classless and slagging you, just giving my impressions.

Tone doesn't get conveyed well in forums, and I should have taken that into consideration.

Nah I've had a pretty good points return so far I'd say. 12 games played.

Possible 36 points to take, I've taken 24. How are you looking league wise?
 
Any time after about 1pm is great for me, gives me a chance to grab a bit of lunch

Yeh, it was a good comeback. This happens to me every game on FIFA - at least 2 goals ahead before the last ten minutes when my defence goes to sleep and no matter what I do, the opponent scores at least twice. I must have lost 10 points already as a result. But it was probably a fair result this time, given you had an inferior team.
 
General question

Any idea why the update isn't working, for example, I still had Pienaar and Yakubu at Everton, and now the Spurs team isn't what I expected

Good game, feck me I'm shit at Fifa... should have won it in the first half, can't believe I actually turned around as the last man and passed your winger the ball playing you in 1 on 1 to lose my lead, I always do stupid shit like that, constantly. I also put Robben and Van Persie on as they are in the reserves and not even the subs but the timer ran out as I was putting Kuyt and Huntelaar back in the subs from the reserves so I couldn't make proper subs.

Put a few headers from 2 yards over the bar, dummied it in your area instead of shooting, then bottled it in the last couple of minutes. I'll learn to play one day. I think the first half I was controlling the game until I played you in but you crushed me in the second. 3-1.

Yeh, those headed chances you had could have put you 2/3-0 up, but my first goal was a bit of a gift to you, ok, not as bad as the one you gave me.

I think I merited the win, but another day, you could have won it, not sure about Holland, immense attack and midfield, but the defence is quite easy to play through

Anyway, good game, nice to know that there are people I can have enjoyable games against rather than getting battered by the better players
