Alright then, since both my all-round choices are taken, I'll go with one of the best batsmen ever.
Brian Lara
Brian Lara

Great pick RI
I bet Desert Eagle won't be till tomorrow.![]()
I was actually surprised other bowlers got picked before him. Akram I could understand because he's the only other class allrounder (though thats a debate with a batting average of only 22) in the draft but the others?
Best West Indies bowler for sure. Good claim for being the best of all time as well.Does anyone agree though that Marshall was the greatest of all time? Sure he had a superb support cast but even among them, he shone out clearly...plus you can't really argue with that average. My idol growing up.
Hehe, RI you got lucky. The newbie AldoRaine also chose McGrath, had you been thirty seconds late. He would've picked him.
AldoRaine18 picks Steve Waugh. Now the game shall continue as the sequence. It's DE chance now.
Non sense. Like feck going late does not make a difference.
I am bitter because who ever I have in mind, keeps getting picked
Marshall debuted in the 70's...........I'm not too bothered about opening it up a bit more, but someone above was denied Viv Richards(who I may have thought more about too.)

My first pick would have been Warne since I reckon will swing matches a lot for voters. Second would have been Lara and after that I was thinking Waugh since captaincy will be important as well. Why worry...i'd say setting aside Kallis who's obviously one of a kind, the rest of the top 15 or so are fine choices and having one or the other is not going to make a huge difference to the end result. Of course, if its a personal favorite, thats another matter.

Not an easy pick.. I had to do a lot of head scratching.. came down to three players in the end.. went with one and only.. Rahul "The Wall" Dravid
Great pick. I think he is highly underrated as an ODI player and would've been my next pick.
Just PMed now..Crappy have you PMed MJJ?
We're picking for the Test Team though in which case Dravid would've been my no.1 pick as batsman, yes even over Sachin.
Where do the rules say that? I've been under the ODI impression so far.

I said this to Omar. But yeah I should've mentioned it in the rules.
