This is more to do with who takes over the aldo ID.

An ODI draft with players who debuted post 1980, or 1970? Just feel that the additional time would throw up some interesting names, and it doesn't have as much of an effect as it would've had on the Test draft.

Don't think there's many of us who'd have seen cricket in the 1970s. Would be a negative impact both in terms of picking players and when voting time comes around.
