Redcafe’s greatest goals of all time

@RedRonaldo Sorry to be a pedant but your lowest opposition quality rating is for Valencia who, a couple of weeks before the Rivaldo hat-trick, had taken part in their second consecutive Champions League Final, unluckily losing out on penalties. Probably as good a club side as any in your opposition list there.

I would love to know just how important that goal was. I think Messi arrived at la masia around this time, and without that CL money they may not have invested as much in the academy. That goal from Rivaldo could very well have paved the way for one of the greatest teams of all time.

Regardless of criteria this is probably the best technical goal I've seen.

Always loved this one too.

Outrageous

Best long ranger ever

Messi, like Ronaldo and Rooney could have numerous goals in this list but for me this is probably the best individual goal of all time (over Maradona).

However I do think that Trevor Sinclair's is probably the best I've ever seen, as funny as that may sound.

Maybe 10 more lists and i'll have enough consensus to start some write-ups for the countdown.

Very bittersweet goal given the circumstances, but Robben’s goal against us in the Champions League where he caught the ball sweet off a corner. The technique to pull that off is unbelievable.

Bale’s against Stoke on the volley, similar to Robben’s goal in that the technique needed to strike the ball that cleanly while not blasting it over the bar is proper impressive.

Di Maria’s lob against Leicester, awful awful result for us but this goal is one of my favourites in recent memory, absolutely nobody expects him to do that and to scoop it the way he did was stunning.

Ibrahimovic’s volley against Anderlecht, not a lot to be said about this really, absolute rocket that’s still rising as it hits the net. As cleaner strike of a ball as you could hope to see.

It's funny that people completely ignore the OP once it gets past the first page. All we'll see now are the YouTube videos of random goals.
