The feck? I looked at this and thought "easy win for Isotope". I look at the voting and he is getting smashed! What am I missing?
Such a limited fullback is a sore thumb to any team. There's a reason why he's losing his place to Evra, and Argentina had a porous defence with him there. To be fair, I heard he's getting a good review playing as centerback with Rome.
Just found out it's true only few rate Boban nowadays. Antohan even 'questioning' if Boban can get the best of Heinze.
Before anyone complains, "miserable Roman" is a reference to a running joke in Argentina about Riquelme always looking miserable and constantly having personal problems, arguments with Boca management, retiring, coming back, then retiring again... It was a regular TV show question now etched in popular culture "Riquelme, are you happy?", and Riquelme invariably answering "Yes, I'm happy" and looking like someone just stamped on his bollocks.
Someone latched onto it and actually made an ad campaign entirely based on Riquelme looking his usual miserable self but eventually drawing a smile from him when he used their products...
See below, the miserable feck is playing to that persona now and making a ton of money out of it
I mistakenly voted for kps. Can I change my vote to isotope?
We will remember to consider your vote in case the match is decided by a difference of 1 vote. Looks unlikely.
Extreme midfield control won't claw back a 9 vote advantage. You need to score and just got rid of arguably your most prolific goalscorer. Nuts.
Gobsmacked that Forlan has been given the nod ahead of Valeron.

Eto'o?
Tbf, I was going to vote for you. I'm a big big Riquelme and Kohler fan. But that changes worked for me. As far as Davids and Cambiasso getting to Valeron goes, I can argue that he has Redondo marking Riquelme. And Riquelme had 2 major weaknesses which makes your team worse. For one, he needed team play to be based round him and two, he could be marked out of the game. Put Gatusso or Redondo on him and he'd be non existent. As much as I love the player, he really struggled with quality man marking. No that's fine. Although Davids and Cambiasso will eat Valeron for breakfast
I don't get people who wait too long to place their vote though. It's almost as if you're willing to completely forget the first lineup as long as the second one is good.

I'm voting for Isotope. It seems to me like kps has too much riding on Riquelme. If he's marked out of the game, there's no one to get the ball to the dangerous front 3. Neither Davids nor Cambiasso are good distributors.
For Isotope, even if Valeron's marked out of the game, Redondo is an excellent distributor from deep.
How Have you been RI? Haven't seen you on here much since the cricket draft!

6 votes in it, this could be memorable!

Well, it could, if you bastard would vote for me
Worried you are now 15-8? That's quite a comeback he is mounting.
The voting lasts 24 hours. He made that change before he even got to the 20th minute or so.
Early votes are needed to gage how things are going and enough people will vote purely on thinking one side is clearly superior and there's no chance it will change.
In this game, I reckon there was more than the starting lineups to it and wanted to see the twists and turns along the way.
I told you the moment you got him that Riquelme was a double-edged sword. As it stands, Redondo stops Riquelme and you stop being fluid and start relying on isolated efforts.
Am I right in thinking you can't bring Forlan back on?I remember Brwned making trial substitutions . I think you might've changed personelle of early.
