It'll continue till everyone has 14 players. Once you reach 14, you stop playing and others who have less will just continue.
Chester's win will apply to entire round. If he restricts to a nationality, that will apply in addition to your box criteria.

What happens if there aren't any players suitable to the nationality restriction (or manager or whatever) when the card is activated?
For example Chester uses English nationality and there isn't a suitable player in box 26 - played in the three big leagues (think the list is shortest there)? We can switch to the default criteria or?

It says that you can choose to bypass it, though - could you clarify this:
Can you just go default regardless, or do you have to stick to nationality (or club) if there are eligible picks for your box, i.e. default only applies if there are no eligible players?
Also, at first glance I don't see what I have to benefit from using this card at any stage, so might as well play it now.
Another option is to use later in the process to make challenging for the managers to get the last player part of the starting 11 ie. higher potential risk at the end to get 2 sheeps in the starting 11.

True, but this applies to myself as well.
It depends on the default business too. If you can bypass the restriction, it's a pretty soft «punishment», and unlikely that anyone will be forced to pick sheep types.
You will choose a criteria that is fine for you but bad for the others.

Well, choose what restriction you want to apply? Restrict a club, manager or nationality? Which particular club/manager/nationality?
Your restriction applies to default criteria too. I don't want to drop down to sheep level pick, so they can use Default criteria but still with your restriction added on.
For example, you choose to go via club restricted to Real Madrid, If they can't find a good player to match both club and card (e.g. Fergie era player box), then they can use default criteria but still restricted to Real Madrid players.
The restriction could be damaging for the winner if his target is picked by somebody else
That's a bad example as there's no pool.
My understanding is even if you got nationality and Fergie pool (say, English played for SAF) I can still choose to bypass the box and pick any English player not in the default pool list.

You don't know the roll - that's the deal with these jackpot things.
@Chesterlestreet I would look at it as a bodyguard. You always know your possible next round boxes. See which cherished targets are out of scope and choose his club/country/manager for next round so no one can pick him. Obviously choose among those three the one that least affects you in your priority options for each of the next 12 boxes.
E.g. If I want Zanetti and have no other Inter targets that's easy. If I do then check if I have Argie targets. If I do, pick any one of his many managers that doesn't affect my targets.

There is an obvious choice, but I'm not sure that he'll make it back to me (plus I'd have to get a favorable roll)

You can void the entire round tho and force everyone to pick a sheep. Just restrict by nationality (Chinese or Ivorian or something).
Personally think the biggest advantage is to use it later after you've completed your team(round 11/12). You'd gain some advantage on those who hasn't.
Especially with only 14 rounds and already 1-2 dropped players.
To be honest, I can't be arsed thinking too much about this - I have more important things to do at the moment.
So analyzing possibilities is simply not on. I can barely devote any time to the current roll.
Seems obvious that you'd want to wait as long as possible to play the card, though. Going Chinese doesn't make much sense until you've got an XI yourself. So, either you wait or you roll the dice, as it were, with something that ensures a decent size pool.
It's a shitty prize at any rate, more hassle than bonus.

wait until Chester actually uses it think will be another "injury" round either way.I think other managers are happy you don't win this card
yeah obviously as you hurt yourself. My thinking was if you complete your set and you're happy with your first 11 you can do damage with that card on the rest who haven't. Personally for managers who already have multiple dropped players(like ourselves) it's better to use it earlier than later.
