I don’t think Dalot's pass to Bruno was the right one other. A ball across the 6yrd box and Zirkzee has a tap in.

He just doesn't seem to get putting the ball into space for somebody to run on to.

Always said Amorim needs to make us hard to beat and Sociedad have struggled to break us down. Think we are defending well as a unit and we have had a couple of decent opportunities.

Standard is way off what we want but if we can come away nicking a win for next week that'll do.
I get your point but sociedad have only scored 23 goals in 26 games in la liga this season. They seem to struggle to break most teams down.

Sociedad are really poor. We should be going back with a two goal advantage. Garnacho & Hojlund to score.

One day we will be good again and it will feel great because we suffered through some really poor seasons, like this one. Can`t wait

Feels like one of those games where we come out and concede to a brain dead onana howler in the first few minutes of the half

Very risk-averse player. Makes him a bad fit for the WB role.

Trying my very best to be positive, I thought Hojlund looked quite lively during that first half.

These players have 0 chemistry. What do they do in training?! It’s like there playing with a bunch of strangers
Good grief. Where have you been for 2 months, or whatever it is, two decades?

Amorim has said at least 1,000 times we don't do training, there isn't any time for that.

When do you expect them to train ?

During the days between matches ?
The morning / afternoon before the match ?

There simply isn't anytime for training.

All the other teams are better prepared and more organized than us and they did ALL their training in the 4 - 6 weeks of pre-season.

It is impossible to train other than in pre-season. Impossible.

If we played like we did under ETH the past year or more, we would be 2-0 down by now. All Sociedad would have to do is, 1 pass through our midfield and immediately a huge chance for them.

Oh you have got to be joking me. Would've been a fantastic opportunity for Hojlund to grab a much needed goal to hopefully boost his confidence.

That's the primary situation where Hojlund is in his element; Dalot HAS to fecking put that across for him.

What a shitty game. A neutral supporter would probably find more joy in watching Stevenage play Peterborough in League One.

Sociedad are absolutely toothless and woeful, yet we fail to dominate the game in any way. Probably not surprising when we're effectively playing with 6 defenders and a few passengers.
I am beginning to think that this new manager fellow is a tad defensive in his outlook.

And some people here think Dalot did the right thing by not passing to Højlund.:nervous:

Hojlund wants no part of any physical fight. Gives absolutely nothing.

I actually think he gets such an easy ride in terms of his effort level/being an outright lazy player at this point.

Didn't realise this was on so early. Assumed it would start at 7:30. How was the 1st half? Any improvement?

I like Dalot and stock up for him a lot but not crossing for Hojlund is absolutely criminal

The feck is the referee not playing advantage first?

Why did the ref blow there???????
