According to reports Real Madrid are pushing to land Manchester United star Javier Hernandez.

The Daily Mail claims Real boss Jose Mourinho is hoping to persuade his United counterpart to part with the Mexican sensation by offering two strikers, Gonzalo Higuain and Karim Benzema.

However, it seems any offer for Mexico international, who scored a hat-trick for his country at the weekend, will be summarily dismissed by Ferguson.

With the 23-year-old scoring 20 times during a campaign that ended with a starting place in the Champions League Final against Barcelona at Wembley, it is no surprise that Europe’s biggest clubs are looking at a player who signed for United on relatively modest £40,000-a-week terms last summer.

Piss off Real

As if they would offer both players for Hernandez. Would be pointless as we can't play them both at the same time and combined wages would be ridiculous.

Ahh be prepared for years of summers with Hernandez to Real stories.

I would take that offer tbh, I love Hernandez but if they are offering both of the strikers(very unlikely) then I will take it.

This.

Plus I'd like to think that Hernandez is a relatively grounded and humble player by todays standards.

Not sure if he is/was a United fan, but he's always seemed incredibly grateful to play for United and hasn't mentioned harbouring a desire to play in Spain to my knowledge.

I can't see it happening if i'm honest, and I certainly hope it doesn't.

As RonaldoVII said, they'd not both be getting game time assuming Rooney and Berbatov, or even one of them is still at United next year.

Plus the wage for those two would likely be four times what Hernandez would be on, even after a bumper pay-rise next season.

We'd be crazy to take those two in a swap deal.

Rubbish site
shit story
unfortunately will serve its purpose and get lots of clicks

 what a load of bullshit. How the feck do these guys get paid for writing this shit.

All fair points which I didn't take into consideration.

If they actually offered both players for Hernandez, I'd pack Little Pea's bags for him and drive him to the airport.

This sums up my feelings on the "story" and "journalist" quite accurately.

This is some funny shit.

Swapping any one of those players for Hernandez would be a strange one on RM's part never mind both!

the famous ronaldo quote....:nervous:

I say that, fortunately he didn't say it.

The article on marca Ferguson declara intocable al Chicharito - MARCA.com

Benzema or Higuain + money...

But I think this a bullshit invented by the Daily Mail, and each newspaper, website are reporting it in a different way

Benzema + Higuain for Chicarito
Benzema or Higuain for Chicarito
Benzema/Higuain=Chicarito > Swap

Man Utd striker Chicharito says Ferguson has his loyalty | Premiership News | tribalfootball.com
Manchester United striker Javier Hernandez says manager Sir Alex Ferguson can count on his loyalty.

The £6m Mexican scored 20 goals in 45 appearances last season.

Little Pea, as his nickname translates, modestly said: "I'm not a symbol or an idol, or anything like that. Football is not a sport like golf but a team game. I am very motivated after a great season with Manchester United.

"From now on I'll owe a great debt to Sir Alex Ferguson for bringing me to Europe. My dream continues and has not changed. I want to win many titles to give back to the team that opened the doors for me."

Do sports journalists still exist, or do they just use machines that randomly fill in blanks for their stories?

First, it's obviously bollocks and second, even if it were true then they can feck right off.

I love having Chicharito here, he's been a breath of fresh air and I'm not ready for him to leave just yet.

The Daily Mail.Trying to cram in as much bollocks as it can before the transfer window ends.

No really, piss off Madrid.

This is how Real do business, though. Stories appear, they deny them, more stories appear, some board member/president-wannabee says it would be great for the Madrid fans, more stories appear, the manager says the player is going nowhere, the agent is quoted saying his client will listen to offers, then claims he was misquoted, more stories appear, turns out the CEO of the player's current club is in Spain 'on holiday', the player says playing for Madrid would be 'every player's dream', 3 weeks later...bye!
