Ray LaMontagne

Just got hold of Till The Sun Turns Black. This guy is quality.

have tickets to see him again in the Gaiety later this year :D

Problem with concerts in the UAE, is that only major acts tend to be brought out here, as they are the only ones who will generate enough money to be worth it. Sadly this means 95% of all concerts here are shit.

I'd move.

Fair enough. Music doesn't play that big a role in my life. I'm happy enough if i can get it playing in my car.

Yeah Trouble is definitely his best.... (for me!)

He had two early demo EP's before he was signed called 'The Green EP' and 'Introducing Ray Charles Lamontagne' both worth checking out, you'll need to search for em on t'net though

I love the tracks 'Empty', 'Three More Days' and 'Lesson Learned' off of Till the Sun Turns Black.

I've changed my mind, Till the Sun Turns Black is his best album. Three days and Gone Away from Me are two of my favourites. Quality album though.

I agree with you Elvis.

I met him when he was over here in the summer, seemed like a really genuine and nice bloke.

I really want to go and see him live, I've listened to a lot of his live stuff on Youtube and he's quality.

Did he come across as shy? That's how I imagine him to be. If you meet him again tell him Elvis from the internet said hello.

I wouldn't say he was shy by the standards of normal people, but compared to other musicians he probably was yeah. He was humble and relatively unpretentious.
