RAWK Goes Into Meltdown 24/25 Edition - AMAD Bunch of Scousers!

Damn I had to really go looking for this thread :annoyed:.

Anyways, here's a funny twitter post from a Pool fan having a meltdown about TAA leaving

If this is not satire, that person seriously needs to touch some grass.

Never understood why people are like this

I'm not reading that. These relationship analogies from fans of football clubs or players is tediously frequent and always uncomfortabley creepy.

It amazes me how so many people around Liverpool seem to think Real Madrid is like Preston compared to them. The amount of talk I've heard from some of their fans about how it's a "bad career move" is funny. More money, more fame, better squad, better chance of individual honours, more fans, more titles, more European trophies. What's the downside?

AMAD Bunch of Scousers! New
From official Liverpool forum.

Completely disgusted by that performance.

Go now Trent so we can get on with our season.

Not our best performance but it’s a point from a team who’ll revert back to their relegation battle after this game

What a disappointment. Slot should have brought Bradley on after going up 2-1. This is on him IMO. At least Arsenal dropped points too.

Dreadful. Robbo and trent pathetic. Jones awful. Forwards poor. Only macallister and grav stood up. First time all season I would question this side. We looked like we didn't want the fight. We have another 19 of these if we want to win this league.

Bottlers!

Bottled a huge opportunity fuming

2 points dropped against one of the worst teams in the league. Shocking performance

Watch Southampton beat united next week, they’re garbage, we made them look good. Just a terrible performance

It should never have been a fair result in the first place. United are crap and are 14th in the league. We should have pummelled them. Really poor team and tactical performance today.

Poor performance. The players were like jogging around like they already won the match from 1st min and sloppy passing especially TAA. Jones again kept holding onto the ball, not sure when will he ever mature. 50-50 challenges and we were losing them. Disgraceful performance.

Horrible performance not able to take control and to keep possession and lucky that they wasted more clear chances than we did. Very disappointing also from Arne, everyone could see what happened on our right back side an he didn‘t change it.

Of all players to have a crap game today.

I want Trent gone. I've had enough of his attitude.

Slots worst game of the season. You see your right back is not even trying yet you bring on a totally useless clown in nunez instead of subbing trent with connor.
Slot cost us the win with his bad decisions
I truly don't know what world those who think TAA is the best RB in the world live in. Was he for a time? Yes. Could he be again? Yes. But not with this effort. Just pure laziness. Once Bradly is up to speed, he should start.
Was really looking forward to Mark Goldbridge highlights before this game. Now what am I supposed to watch?
Really nice of Slot to sacrifice the game for Trent's ego. Lovely gesture.

I am speaking after the high of the game, sell Trent, Bradley ftw, etc....

Otherwise United got into our heads. Again.
Trent Alexander Arnold is a disgrace
You're now counting on beating everton in another derby, that's just not as straightforward as people think it is. We are not ruthless enough, we are not humble enough, we are not working hard enough to win this league. So frustrating
Can anyone explain what Robertson was thinking at the end there holding Amad so blatantly for what seemed an age? He didn't even let go when Amad was clearly complaining to the linesman, just genuinely one of the dumbest things I've seen all season.

We continue to have a fullback problem.
What irritates me the most is that United were crap. Everything that went well for them was because of the way we played.
Won xG by 2.87 to 1.03. Bit stupid to throw it away by being sloppy but we are too good to do so often enough for anyone else to have a chance.

I'm enjoying all the "ah well, y'see, United always raise their game against us" flavour coping in the context of us never doing anything but rolling over and having our tummies tickled there for about a decade.

Exactly. Even under Fergie, we often lost there. We’ve been historically shit away to them.

Thank the lord for Harry Maguire
Honestly, my life flashed before me when it dropped to him. Thought I was going to be hibernating for a month if that went in.
Not often you see two teams playing three at the back at Anfield
That was one of the worst right back performances I can remember.
United were very good today. Which is infuriating because they've been dogshit all season, and will probably be dogshit again in their next match.
Probably the second best team there, take a point which is poor.

Some pretty appalling individual performances. Macca was outstanding
Conditions obviously were a factor but Trent needs to be subbed much earlier and id have switched konate for Quansah once we went up as his legs were shot. The state of that c*nt Martinez celebrating like he won the World Cup when he scored. Truly pathetic.
Speaking of which, a cameraman was nearly seriously hurt when those pricks started piling over the hoardings. All the while being encouraged by their twat players.
Need more.

Did Amad score a hat trick? He’s walking off with the match ball. Keeping the ball after scoring an equalising goal at Anfield shows their mentality these days. Putting in a bit of effort against us is more important than anything else.

Much like the current Arsenal side have become everything Wenger hated this lot have become everything Ferguson hated. He called sides like this cheats. Cheating their fans and their manager(s) because they can get up for a game against a big team but can’t be arsed in 80% of their other games.

You won’t see anything anywhere near that effort against Southampton.

So that was Amorim masterclass?

This is the peak of their season. A draw at Anfield. They'll continue to be mid-table water treaders, and come the end of the season we won't even remember this game. The Manc Everton.
This every day of the week. For them, it's a "win". Very Everton behaviour. 6 points clear. With a game in hand. Suck on that.
It was their one good game in 5, and the drill will be much the same as after the Manchester derby.

They’ll have their open top bus parade during the week. They’ll embarrass themselves with some sort of “banter” online, and then by midweek they’ll remember they’re 13th, and a point hasn’t really done anything for them.

Then they’ll lose to Arsenal in the cup, be crap against Southampton, publicly soil themselves at home to Rangers in Europe and then Neville will be back to whining about them the worst team in the league. Like clockwork this lot.
We've seen this game-raising energy before against us and then City last season, before they revert to type in the smaller games and as they can't replicate the one off, manic, nothing to lose performance every week. It's what we used to do them when we were shite and they were running away with the league.

It also shows how small time mentally their players are that they are walking off celebrating a draw instead of being embarrassed their billion pound squad is 13th. Keep your head down and get down the tunnel.

They'll get embarrassed again before the month is out. This was their World Cup final, and frankly, we were dogshit. They'll underperform again quite soon because that's who they are; no consistency. Of course, we'll be treated to more Manc propaganda before they get beaten by Southampton or someone.
For years & years when Ferguson was manager United fans used to claim opposition teams were 'game raising c*nts' if they had the audacity to take points off their beloved Manchester United. Shoe is well & truly on the other foot now.
That was their cup final and they won a draw with 5 at the back they can’t play like that against fellow lower table teams. At the end of the day We are still competing for the league, they got a point in their fight to stay out of the relegation battle. They celebrated a draw at Anfield like Burnley or Ipswich would. Their reality that onr draw won’t change. Congratulations boys
They’ve taken four points from their last seven games, which is relegation form, but those four points have come against Man City and us. The fans have been doing metaphorical laps of honour online, whilst the players have done actual ones on the pitch, which speaks volumes about the mentality running right through that club these days.

The state of that c*nt Martinez celebrating like he won the World Cup when he scored. Truly pathetic.

They're mad. Yeah it was truly pathetic for a defender to celebrate scoring a cracker for his second goal for the club, away at the league leaders, after the season we've been having so far.

You know they've lost their heads and are grasping at straws when they post some faux-outrage about a cameraman apparently being "nearly seriously hurt".

In all of the euphoria of celebrating a goal, won't someone please think of the sports photographer?!

What I'm saying is, that wasn't just about celebrating a random 2-2 draw at home to West Brom.

There's a bit more context to that situation, where Klopp had previously questioned the fans for leaving early. So, when they stayed and they got that equaliser it was about appreciating the fans support. The long term impact was to create a rapport with the fans and the players that neither will ever give up.

After that, I honestly couldn't tell you how many times they came from behind to win under Klopp.

That season, precisely once, away to Palace.

The following season, four times (Swansea away, Stoke home, Burnley home and Stoke away). Stoke at home they were in front by half time, Burnley at home by the hour mark, and Stoke away with about 20 to go, so it was hardly a string of "never say die" late comebacks.

It was twice the season after that. Leicester at home (level just after half-time, in front with 15 to go) and Palace away.

I don't think that 2-2 at home to West Brom was still present in the memory the season after, given it was four seasons prior and most of the squad that day were no longer at the club, and I'm not sure 7 more times over the next 2 and half seasons is particularly impressive.

This is not the Klopp appreciation thread. It's pretty much the exact opposite ffs

Some idiot on RAWK: "imagine celebrating a 2-2 draw at Anfield when you're not a shit team like Burnley"

Me: Video of Liverpool celebrating a 2-2 draw at Anfield against West Brom like they'd won the league

That poster: "well actually that was amazing from Klopp because..."

Won the title thanks to zirkzee and Maguire, thank you Manchester united.
We have regressed when facing Utd. Couldn't care less for the 7:0 and 5:0 victories. Last few games have been diabolical against them. It is like a normal middle-aged guy with decent job and beautiful wife and kids going back to highschool reunion facing the old bully. Form goes out of the window and bang - you are back in highschool. I am extremely interested how we bounce back from this EMBARASSING draw. Oh, and Trent - Godspeed - see you at Bernabeu.
We made them looked like Barca when Messi was around.
Conceding 2 goals against them is so *********** embarrassing. Even wolves managed to keep a clean sheet against them.
Virgil should have gone full Keith Houchen with that header

Even when Liverpool were all-conquering in the 70's & 80's our record vs United was very poor - I am sure they never lost at Anfield during that period for a number of seasons. Even under Klopp we gave them some beatings at Anfield, but there were alot of draws also. Important to put this one behind us as soon as possible.
This is the third time in the past few seasons we drop points against united when we’re in a title race.
Robbo clinging on to that Amad or whatever his name is near the end, what was that all about, divvy.
I think our reaction to this is as a result of PTSD from our title races with Man City.

Back before they were founded you could drop points and still win titles.
Reminded me of games last season where there hacked clearances were turning into what looked like unbelievable passes because there is no shape to the game.

Annoyingly they dragged us down to there level again.
Side note. After Salah scored that pen. He made me feel like he would never score at Anfield against united again. Like he was taking that feeling in one last time.

Trent is being made a scapegoat because of the Real Madrid stuff - the whole side was flat today, bar a few individuals. That being said some of the stuff in here is ludicrous and nonsensical, considering how we have played previously & where we sit in the table. No context, perspective or rationale.
Disagree about Trent being a scapegoat, he was genuinely an utter disgrace today.
People on here have had their knives out for the guy constantly. There is little objectivity or balance when discussing him.
Even a goat would have done better than Trent today, so there is no need to scapegoat him. I agree that the team were totally flat, but Trent was disgraceful.
People are not just criticising him for him for his performance today though are they? There is a narrative when many discuss Trent & it just isn't balanced or objective.

Use thread as intended New
Guys we’re gonna lock this thread if it’s not used for the purpose intended.

Going round and round, page after page of commenting on the same gifs is not it

Use it or lose it

I care so little, i can't even remember his name, even though i can.

The last 10 years of RAWK threads would be a fraction as long as they are without discussion about that gif. It’s a caf tradition
