Haha that's an amazing post. A bit like when David Brent keeps bringing up Dostoyevsky.
Svejk is a funny book though.
Svejk is a funny book though.
I think we all know an otherwise sane minded Liverpool fan, who will still defend Suarez to the hilt in the Evra saga. One of my best mates, who is otherwise a very bright lad, still blames Evra for the whole thing. Unbelievable. Some things are bigger than football allegiances and one of those is definitely racism.
The problem I have about the likes of Suarez and John Terry etc is they don't respond in the way I imagine I would, or anyone else I know, if I was accused of anything like that. They spend more time talking about evidence, rather than being horrified that anyone could think they would stoop so low to betraying such a bigoted attitude. Most people would be stung about having the attitude attached to them, but these guys just talk about evidence.
They're still champions of the anti racist sentiment though, looking at the way they jumped to the defense of Balotelli
Well yeah, there is that of course. But Suarez was targeted by a Fergie led Illuminati conspiracy against him to get him out of England and to keep Liverpool down.
You can't blame them for defending him really.
Joking aside, if that's what he honestly believes, he is fecking deluded beyond all reason.
If I was a fan of any club he ends up at, I'd shit all of my internal organs out in terror.
If RAWKites were commentators:
Hasn't been too much meltdown over there since it's been an international break, so I thought I'd leave this gem here for now.
RAWKBola Sufferer said:When we scored our 100th premiership goal last season if someone had told us you will play Real Madrid in the champions league next season and your striking options will be Mario Balotelli and Rickie Lambert you would of had them sectioned.
Unfortunately this is our depressing reality
My missus [no interest in football but clearly has an enforced awareness of most things LFC being married to me and knew just how pivotal his imminent return was to the club's performance levels because I'd told her about it at least a hundred times a week for the past 7 weeks] just shouted through to me
"Did you know Sturridge is out for another month?"
I went in to cry on her shoulder and she said to me knowingly something any five year old [and certainly West Ham - Valencia and the other guy signed up front] would have known but our club with its brilliant manager, transfer committee and scouting system geared to top 4 status seemingly didn't.
"Surely the club knew when Suarez went that he was never injured whilst Sturridge always seemed to have some injury or another so they'd need someone similar to Suarez or Sturridge and someone reliable to replace Sturridge whenever he was injured?"
I wept unconsolably on her other shoulder before sinking my teeth into the edge of the kitchen table and muttering unthinkable curses at every c*nt responsible for such a fecking unforgivable fecking cock up from Hodgson to John fecking Henry and his tweet happy missus.
Where's all this 'amazing attack' of theirs shite coming from ?
So far Di Maria has been very good but Rooney ain't ,RVP ain't ,and Falcao hasn't exactly been doing a Costa has he.
Haha fecking 2 wins and the delusion comes back in force from the knobheads. Let's see where they are after the next 4 games then.
Tits.
It's a problem to find the meltdown content over Studge due to them not having player threads, of course. So, I've had a wild guess that investigating ''Current Injury Updates'' or ''Our Attack'' might be fruitful. They are devious olde sausages.
Bloke sounds like he married his own mom or something. Just very disturbing. It's a problem to find the meltdown content over Studge due to them not having player threads, of course. He would have a point if it wasn't for the fact that most United fans only talk about our attack having the potential to be amazing.Someone seems a bit scared, eh?
I like the way they talk about 'delusion' as if Utd fans have a history of being deluded about their club's potential. They're so desperate for us to be perceived in the same way they have been for the last 20 years.Someone seems a bit scared, eh?
Is the Sturridge thread still open over there?
FFS, they've gone above us on the table. Moral victory number 24 of the season
Not a big deal since we will go right back ahead tomorrow. Even more encouraging is the fact that they're back to being shit, despite getting lucky today.
Even worse then ours IMO. Main reason ours was shite was because of having to play youth players at the back. Evans is a bit shit IMO but Rojo, Jones and Smalling are all decent center backs, with Jones I think having potential to become a top class player if he stops getting injured all the time. Our fullbacks are far better as well. Can't believe this thread has slipped to the second page. Wonder if they recognise that their defensive is as frail as ours?
Skrtel is a walking disaster. Can't believe they sold Agger and kept Skrtel. Can't believe this thread has slipped to the second page. Wonder if they recognise that their defensive is as frail as ours?
We scored three perfectly decent goals
If you're in a group of people in the pub and someone is sitting there droning on, and on, and on, moaning, negative rubbish it's impossible to 'just ignore'. You hear it because he's said it, and he won't change his opinion even if you present him with logical argument and reasoned debate. Does it matter that he won't change his opinion? No, everyone is entitled to their own. What matters is he is not remotely OPEN to changing his opinion and doesn't give two sh*ts what you say. Paul Merson said X, Adrian Chiles said Y, my opinion is Z and I won't change it for love nor money. Then debate becomes futile.
Skrtel is a walking disaster. Can't believe they sold Agger and kept Skrtel.
I read that book, The Good Soldier Svejk, when I was about 8, except when I read it, it was spelt Schweik on the cover.
Selling Agger is understandable. Although he'd probably be their best defender when on form he's simply injured too often. He wanted a bigger role in the squad, and Rodgers simply couldn't give him that because he's so unreliable. What they should have done was to spend £20m on some decent defender not named Lovren.Skrtel is a walking disaster. Can't believe they sold Agger and kept Skrtel.
