RAWK Goes into Meltdown 2014/2015 - The "We go again" Edition

Maybe United are struggling to get players in because they don't want to play for Mr. V. Gaal.

Maybe.
Maybe they don't want to play for United, Live in Manchester or play for a team who wear red.
Or maybe signing top class players is harder than free transfers and rejects and takes a bit more time?
:D

Latest from RAWK on the Sterling situation:

What's the reaction to us signing darmian? Expecting 'he s the Johnson of Italy' for sure

Its funny seeing them talk about Schweiny being a desperate signing because he's 30 when they just signed 29yo James fecking Milner who they act like they have signed Iniesta or something.
Every player we buy is either a 'desperation move' by us, or its a player that 'i think will strggle in this league' lol.

We could sign clones of 22 year old Messi, Ronaldo, Keane, Scholes, Zidane, Van Nistelrooy, Pele, VDS, Thuram, Cafu, Xavi and the ghost of George best, but in the eye of your average brain dead scouse wankstain they would be either desperation, knee jerk signings, massively over rated, not as good as Hendo, Flanno, Firimino, Millnero etc

Or just plain shit.

And they would all be too expensive (even if they were free).

They are just bitter and can't stand the fact that we can buy high profile players and they can't . Liverpool couldn't sign a player like Di Maria for example, because the players simply wouldn't go. They have done a lot of business early this window and fair play to them but there delusional. Making there new signings like Milneymar and Danny Ingiesta, they think they are genuine contenders. The truth is that Liverpool had there chance and blew it in 2014. They will not have a better chance of winning a league for a long time now. They are now a Europa league team that will finish outside the top 4 again next year. They look a broken team from the one that had Suarez, Sterling and Daniel Subway scoring for fun. The media would like to convince you otherwise though. Stories like selling Sterling and replacing him with Marco Reus:wenger: There only comfort is voting for Jordan Henderson to be on the FIFA 16 cover with Messi/ Jamie Carragher saying Bastian is past his best. I find it funny how they have been laughing at us in this window so far. There won't be much laughing if we get Morgan Schneiderlin and Otanmendi/Ramos in this window.

They have already been doing the "Schweinsteiger is old and past it, i would of been more worried if they signed Schneiderlin", "Utd got the wrong player, they should of got Schneiderlin" style posts but just you watch, as soon as we sign Schneiderlin they will be like "he's overrated, he wouldn't be at Southampton if he was any good" etc, etc, etc lol.

Most of them in their United thread recognised Schweini could be a great signing for us as long as he isn't injured.

But he'll be 31 the first month of the season. He comes to a faster paced league, ask Emre Can who has a lot more pace than Bastain. It's a more physical league, again ask Emre.

Rightly called out, to give them their dues:

I dunno if you're wumming here but there's about 8 galaxies of difference in quality between Emre and Schweinsteiger. It's like telling Aguero to go ask Antonio Nunez if the switch to England is piss easy.

Couldn't have put it better myself.

They are absolutely insane. In complete denial...comparing Can and Schweinsteigher :wenger:

I like how we have no chance of finishing above Arsenal despite only finishing 5 points behind them last season.

I think they're trying to convince themselves we're not really that much better.

Its going to be an interesting season for Brenton and the boys.. I seriously think if they fail to get top 4 this year they will implode completely.. cant wait!

Why is Can being used as a point of reference? He wasn't that good before he joined Liverpool, and he's bang average now. Congratulations on remaining a totally unremarkable player in two leagues.

Schweinsteiger 'past his best'

Jamie Carragher has questioned Manchester United's signing of Bastian Schweinsteiger and feels the player is "past his best".

Bayern Munich chief executive Karl-Heinz Rummenigge confirmed on Saturday that a deal has been done to take the 30-year-old for Old Trafford.

But Sky Sports pundit and former Liverpool defender Carragher is unsure how good the transfer will actually be and also feels the potential exit of goalkeeper David de Gea would mean United losing their best player.

"Great player but at BM (Bayern Munich) he found it difficult to play alongside (Xabi) Alonso be interesting to see how he & (Michael) Carrick works," he wrote on Twitter.

The comment prompted a response that Carragher was bitter, to which he replied: "You joking? losing your best player (De Gea) & now signing a player past his best I couldn't be happier!"

He then went on to say: "I make a tactical point & get abuse from Man Utd fans! They don't understand tactics."

However, the wider reaction to the signing on Twitter was positive with former England international striker Gary Lineker saying: "Great signing by Manchester United. In @BSchweinsteiger they've bought themselves both a brilliant footballer and experience."

Former United player Danny Higginbotham said: "You can never have enough leaders in a team. @ManUtd had so many for so long but over recent years not enough. Priority I'm sure

Latest form North Korea:

Back to shitting ourselves over United again I see

Yeah, a whole year of finishing ahead of us.

I'll remind you of the absolute euphoria you Mancs were rolling around with last summer over Di Maria and Falcoa. What class players they were. ( at least elsewhere).

Remind me how their performances were for the course of the season?

Bastain will have some good moments and the good odd match. He won't be your savior week in and week out.

I agree this could be Falcao MkII for them.

Falcao comparisons already, based on jack shit as ever.
