RAWK Goes Into Lockdown 24/25 Edition - Quadruple Hopes 'Plym'-met

I’m disappointed to see this thread at page 3. They just dropped points.
Liverpool dominated the game though. Sels was outstanding and Forest were penned in their own half for most of the second half, plenty of last ditch defending.

Wish all teams put in that much effort against Liverpool. Nuno deserves a lot of respect for the work he's doing.

Plymouth knock Liverpool out of FA Cup New
Finally something to kickstart this thread again!

Too bad it’s North Korea over there now

Awesome that. Was getting tired of Jamie Carragher acting like a mug and pretending they’ve already won everything!

1 out, 3 more to go. (although hard to see how they lose the league from here)

From official Liverpool forums

Have to say....

Not really bovvered on this one

Three trophies is enough to go for.

We put out a team to lose and got what we wanted, bigger fish to fry.
Absolutely awful but we don’t need the extra games so I’m not gutted:
Shocking performance from the players, but complete arrogance from Arne today. Completely unnecessary.
Nunez back to his regularly scheduled mediocrity. One of the worst signings we could have made.
Now we know why Elliott is only a squad player.
Done with Elliott, Quansah, Tsimikas and Chiesa
In a way a blessing in disguise, the two home Cup competitions are worthless. The real glamour and money are in the PL and CL. Nevertheless, that was a truly crap performance, all of them were woeful.

Really couldn’t be a***d that we got knocked out. I’m actually glad. It’s a round of fixtures we could do without. I am disappointed that the senior players that were on the pitch played so poorly but I don’t think they were really up for the fight to win this. So long as we carry on our excellent form in the other competitions as we have been then all good.
Good luck to them but I’m not arsed. We’ve chased quadruples and been dead on our feet in March. Now we are going to have free weeks to train and recuperate on FA Cup weekends. The only thing that matters is the league. The national will have a good laugh but the club will have put this behind by Monday
I'm not bothered about being out of the fa cup but that was dreadful.

The team we put out, despite not having played together should have had enough to beat Plymou
Not to fussed by this. We clearly weren’t up for this. Players didn’t look like they wanted to go in for certain challenges to avoid injury. If it weren’t for the Gomez injury, I wouldn’t be feeling bad about this.
Thing is, I don't care we're out of the FA Cup. The PL and CL are all that count in the long run.

I'm waiting!

The comments so far from other Liverpool forums are too sensible for me today!

In my 2 and a half decades of supporting Liverpool, I have to say that I haven't seen a more gutless performance ever.

Every player should hang his head in shame.
I am sorry, but this is unacceptable. You simply can't lose to Plymouth argyle like that.
Did Elliott play a single pass that didn’t come down with snow on it?
So many laughable performances from the senior players today. All in all I’m not too fussed as we clearly don’t have the squad for the four competitions.
The FA Cup would have been to much to take on. Get the win in the League Cup final, and focus on the league and Champions League after that.
Probably the least arsed I've ever been at getting knocked out of the FA Cup.

Never like us to lose...but having our reserves turned over in a Cup, that in all honesty, we are better off out of...is no biggie to me.

One less distraction.
Batten down the hatches for a couple of days while the world goes bat**** crazy over the fact 11 strangers wearing Liverpool shirts got knocked out the FA cup by Plymouth and all will be well again.

Not too bothered we’re out of the cup but the way we went out was pathetic. 100 mins of football against the worst team in the championship and we couldn’t muster a single goal.

Elliot I love the guy but that was one of the worst individual performances I have ever seen and there were a few who weren’t far behind him.
Poor performance and shows that some of the players aren't really up to the standard.

Quansah has gone backwards and I never feel like Nunez is going to score a goal. Elliott had a good chance to step up today but he did nothing. Even Luis Diaz looks flat at the moment.
Chiesa showed nothing of why he has, for some reason, become a cult hero.
Ah well, it looks like we'll have to settle for the Joe Fagan Treble.
Pathetic from all the players and especially the manager. He showed no respect to plymouth with that horrible team and bench and got made to look a clown. A special shout out to chiesa and elliot who were in a competition as to who could play the worst. I gave the prize to elliot due to his basketball skills
When you play academy players with fringe players you always run the risk of a disjointed performance.

Klopp was the master of getting a tune, regardless. Slot, not so much. He’s not the first manager to disrespect low league opposition, and he won’t be the last.
We were going to go out of a competition eventually, maybe 2, so no big deal.

Terrible performance that gives Arne full info on who gets binned for new players that is for sure.

Victims of our own success today, something had to give and it did.

Hope they get Man Utd now, knock them out too.
Needed a captain on the pitch to put a rocket up their ****...

Not bothered in the long run though, we could have drawn City/United/Villa next - at least this way the first team will get a break between CL games..

Important to win our next three so we can go into the city game with no pressure..
I can let this one go. We don’t need a congested schedule in the run in for the PL and CL.
