Another clinker from Baba Yega:

What a load of fecking drivel. fecking mentalist.

Edit: He doesn't actually compare him to Xavi but he does mention Lallana in the same breath as Isco, De Bruyne, Messi and Silva.

How did you even manage to read that? I saw the first line and checked how big the post was and thought "feck it".

Oh my :lol::lol:

What is it with RAWK and these essay length "analyses" that's 90% hogwash and made up stats. Well that and the love poems to Rafa

I have to take a fistful of pain killers every time I watch our defence play.

It would be better and cheaper if you just took that fist and knocked yourself out for 90 minutes. You'll wake up and instantly know that your predication was right.

He's not wrong

Well what else are they supposed to do? They haven't won anything of significance since God-knows-when... Their fans want to show that even when not winning they're actually "winning"

These are the times when the great literary essays come out. In my opinion that Baby Vega fella is probably Klopp in disguise showing how Liverpool despite all the dropped points are winning. :wenger:

Warning:
If you can't stand more than a minute of LOL JK don't watch.

The first 2 minutes or so, he is so erratic and sometimes makes statements that sounds just as delusional as his fans.
I know its hindsight, but my gosh am I glad we didn't get Klopp. I was disappointed that Liverpool got him, but what a gem he has turned out to be for us by having nothing to do with Manchester United.

Tbf I remember Fergie being prickly in press conferences many times.... never mind Jose!!

Your common everyday Rawkite will go to unparalleled lengths in the pursuit of reassurance for both themselves and their kin. The creation of the Alternate League Table - of which Liverpool are the undoubted champions of the universe year in year out - was introduced with this in mind.

Never underestimate the power of delusion.

The funny thing is - they all buy into his bullshit. I thought they’d learn their lesson with Phase of Play.

Maybe it is Phase of Play?

I just ventured onto their forum for the first time ever, in the belief that while the other side are the purest of evils, there must be something interesting to read on there somewhere..

I opened the thread "Liverpool's midfield" and see one kopite doesn't seem to know the difference between pressing and closing down (henderson) and paragraph after paragraph of analysis of passing hendo's passing options against the might newcastle.

oh dear, they're on those deludamols over there lol

Nothing tops the rangers forum. They reckon pardew or allardyce will be their next manager

RAWK is interesting because they're people who are a bit mental. But they're still people. The sort who post stuff like "Big Jock knew" on the Rangers forum Bears Den aren't people. It's nowhere near as interesting to read their shite because they're all clearly subhuman.

People, that's so cute.

a new poster on the Alternative Premier League Table thread
So what's this all about then. I can't make head nor tails of it

Welcome to Rawk and to the APLT fella.
Read the opening post. The Prof explains it there.

Ok thanks mate I've done that now. I take it's a piss take thread??

...say Liverpool have to play the top 10 teams in the first 10 games and Man Utd play the bottom 10 teams during the same period. If they both end up with the same number of points after the 10 games who is doing better?

In answer to your question, neither team is doing better than the other as they'd both have the same points. Unless it's a trick question?!

BAN-HAMMER PENDING

Comparing their squad in 08 to now and it's quite a fall from grace isn't it? Torres, Gerrard, Masscherano, Alonso are all a class above everyone in their squad today (except Coutinho), hell even Agger and Hyypiâ would be a massive improvement over their current CB's

Coutinho is not in the same class as them 4. They were genuine world class players in their prime. Coutinho isnt there yet.

Reina was in seriously good form around then, too. Finnan was dependable. Aurelio was good on his day but too injury-prone. Benayoun and Kuyt always chipped in with important goals. They really did push us close that season.

It would be like going into full depth analysis of how Ashley Young affected our play last season.
Firstly, it is said he lacks contribution - i.e. games played. However, if your only measurement of contribution is games played ( or even minutes on the pitch) then you will run into trouble pretty quickly when trying to understand the value and usefulness in important players. Let me give you an example.

What in the name of Christ are those crop circle stat things?
Just laughed out loud at this, then got asked by the missus what I was laughing at. Cut along story short, you just wasted 15 minutes of my life

You can't spell "Stats" without 'tat'. This Baba Yega speaks exactly that, a load of fecking tat.

I just think we are no where near as good as what people thought we were. I think we will end up on around 65 points which is fairly average for a club our size.
That last sentence suggests to me that you may be undercover.

On Rafa Benitez at Newcastle.

Over a number of years he can build Newcastle into one of the biggest clubs in the league and Europe if Ashley keeps his paws off. It's all on Ashley / the club, we know Benitez's abilities.

It's not something we should be particularly encouraging about, mind. 6 into 4 champions league spots is tough enough as it is!
