I predict the pace of change will be painfully slow...
Didn't he once murder a Dalit? That's quite short-tempered.
Or am I thinking of someone else?
Venkatesh Prasad? Robin Singh? What the feck?
Prasad
Venkatesh Prasad? Robin Singh? What the feck?
They'd murder him back home if he accepted to coach Indians.
The endorsements rule and fitness tests are good points. Hopefully it works.
I think it's a step forward nontheless. Some good points in there like the edorsements one, the under 19 tours and scrapping the zonal representation. It can only happen a little at a time.
I really think they've taken a backword step with their appointments. Losing an opportune moment to really radicalise Indian cricket.
Future of cricket worldwide depends on the well being of Asian teams.
I don't see how they've gone backwards. They've made short term appointments. They've thought of steps to improve the game at the junior level. They've thought of academies, pitches, coaches, endorsements and fees. They've tried to bridge the gap between senior and junior players by removing the fee structure and they've made a really good move in asknig Sachin and Yuvraj to explain themselves for speaking out against the coach.
Things will happen slowly. They're giving Shastri a chance and if he doesn't look like the right man they'll look elsewhere.
Cmon now, he was rubbish. Kumble's quicker ones were the same speed as Prasad.Prasad.A highly intelligent choice. An excellent bowler with a wonderful non spasticated action and good pace. One of our chief wicket takers at one time and I don't doubt for a second that he has lots and lots of knowledge to pass on to your upcoming fast bowlers. And he has a Level 3 coaching badge to boot.
Absolutely brilliant.
Yes please. As it is he does sportscenter every single day.Wasim Akram should be hired as bowling coach.

By Jeeves he's right! Donaldo, your completely non-saracastic viewpoint re: Prasad is misguided at best.
