I live on the flight path to MCR airport. I've got about 40 minutes to write a message in the field next door.

Any ideas?

Write Haaland but strike out the a's with a red strike like in school graded work from a teacher and put ØJ U above the strikes correcting it for Højlund written above and Welcome to Manchester

Has any players ever failed a medical?

Especially a big purchase like EPL level?
I’m sure Van Nistelrooy failed his medical or we had fears about his knee before he actually ruptured his ACL a few days later if I remember correctly?

“No longer flying under the radar, welcome to United.”

Or you could write “Redcafe told me you average 0.5 goals and are in the 56th percentile of pirouettes per 90 which makes you slightly overpriced. But welcome regardless.”

Your choice!

He just flew near Dymchurch and is over Hothfield right now.

There's also a village named Thong.

I even remember the footage of him getting injured - he was being thrown the ball and jumping to head it back to the thrower - his knee buckled as he landed from a jump and he screamed in pain. Having had the same injury myself twice, can confirm it hurts like a mo fo.

Yep I remember it too. I felt physically sick seeing it happen. Especially as I was so excited at the prospect of him joining us. It was a long one year wait for him to come the next summer. It’s even more phenomenal how well he did after such a bad injury.

What were you doing to have snapped the ACL twice? The ole knee slide?

Saw this on reddit, which I thought was a good perspective to look at the fee with.

Not for sale at any price.... but then we are not Atlanta, that is a dynamic you have to add, the question would be how much would Atlanta or a team like Roma ask for Garnacho?

Hope he's got thick skin, the British media already have their teeth out for him...

Football. First time I was only 19 years old and did the ACL after my studs got caught in the turf meaning I went one way and my knee went the other - Had the operation at 21 and was back playing aabout 18 months after that.

Second time, I was about 32 and playing 5 a side. A very large gentleman on the other team lost his balance and fell into the side of my leg pushing the joint inwards and rupturing same knee with the repaired ligament. With advances in surgery since the 90s I was back playing within 7 months of the operation. I am still playing 5 a side now aged 48.

Rashford made the breakthrough under LVG because 4 others ahead of him were injured. Sometimes an opportunity is all that is needed
Just looking at the stats but he was a sub after signing for half a year before becoming a starter in the 2nd half of the season. Injury or not, seems like a pretty normal transition for a 19 year old playing in a big league for the first time.
