He's on fire. What a turn around. Got to be one of best players in Europe right now

You can't justify paying a £50k a week player (and that's being fecking generous) £200k+ a week.

Not unless you want to be a joke club.

How the hell do we retain players like Sancho or Bruno, or sign new talents on manageable wages, if Rashford is sat earning more than them?

Joke club

He's reportedly on around 200k.
Being talked about as 'one of the best in the world' at the minute
12 months before he can walk on a free
United see him as their poster boy
Still only 24
Surely his agent looks for at least 400/450k with all that on there side????

Is he worth that?

Sums like that are bound to drum up a mythical shitstorm the moment he loses the flow, which history tells us he absolutely can. The club reportedly wants to get the wagebill down, in part to reduce squad animosity.

Don't think there's ever been a better example of fans being fickle

I remember someone saying he was a championship player at best

Did we even offer him a new contract? Not seeing any news regarding that

I do wonder whether Rashford would want to see who the new owners are.

He will pretty much have endless options at the end of this season, so it makes sense if he doesn't want to discuss it yet. I just hope no other big club turns his head.

Can we close this thread and reopen the Rashford vs Mbappe thread?
If he wants to be compared to the Mbappes of his generation then we need to start competing for the big, big trophies. That's what gets you global recognition.

Fame getting to his head again. Does he really need this distraction while we're on the quest for the quadruple?

The only thing I can say truly is that some of the CAFs senior members has something against this man since there is no new pool.

I bet his agent asked him to wait till the takeover is complete. Could potentially get a better contract then.

Nah leave the poll up as it is as a good reminder.

I‘m pretty sure I voted keep Rashy.

Is he a better player now, are we using him better, or is it simply a case of having confidence? Maybe being largely snubbed at the WC was a wake up call?

He’s obviously stepped it up a level, however he was always capable of amazing things on his day. Not to forget how wildly inconsistent and ineffective he could be at times. He was previously a scorer of great goals rather than a great goal scorer, he seems to be both right now.
