You’re one of those nit-picky people aren’t you? Well you’re still wrong. It’s £73m + £34m which is the less than the £108m Dortmund wanted last summer.
 Your point that instead of getting only Sancho last summer, we got Sancho AND Varane for nearly the same money this summer is valid and true.
I guess there's discrepancy in the exchange rates from last summer and this summer. £108m is €126m. And you said €120 in your original post, that's why I picked it up.
It doesn't matter to me. What matters is your point - we got them both for around the same money we would've got only Sancho a summer ago.

oh yeah i believe he's still the primary negotiator on the business end but i'm sure Murtaugh must play a small role in this like Woodward did. Guess Murtaugh just makes Judge force a bit of harder bargain
Judge reports to Murtough instead of Woodward now, as reported by Laurie Whitwell and David Ornstein. Judge is the negotiator but Murtough is the first point of contact for other clubs.

We're going to sign Ronaldinho and Alan Shearer too

Don't be ridiculous. Think about wages. United need to live within their means.

Please don't, still gutted we never got him from Lyon.

But yeah Fergie was a big admirer of him, tried everything to get him after that game he tore us to shreds, he chose Real instead.

His last WC was superb. Cavani and Benzema, with Greenwood waiting in line. That's back to United 99' level of strikers.

We're relying on our strikers and wide players to provide goals, like every other team then? You list them like they're players for Blackburn Rovers.

Rashford is going to miss a chunk of the season. Martial and Greenwood scored 11 league goals between them in 53 games (38 starts plus 15 sub appearances) last season. Greenwood is going to be a top player, but none of them are currently prolific in front of goal.

Varane is a positive step, but the addition of a more prolific striker would make us more likely to compete for/win the title (as would upgrading McFred).

Agreed?

They do all this to sign Mbappe. Watch him screw them over and sign a new contract with PSG.
Ofcourse offshore account in Qatar would certainly be a big motivation. I don't think any player would be able to leave PSG who they don't want to sell.

We're never going to win it
Man Utd: We'll pay you less but include some huge clauses if we win the title or CL. Okay?
Real: But you're not even close to winning either. No, we don't want the clauses. Bigger fee upfront please.
Man Utd:

Forgot that Judge was a mate of Woodward before his promotion so makes sense that shit got all fuked up the past two summer transfer windows with the two muppets in charge

Yeah and I just assumed he likes the club because he played for us for so 12 years and didn't think he actually supported United.

I suppose players must love a club they spent so many years at and end up being a supporter of more than one club.

Who would he want to win in a one off cup final between United and West Ham though? Because 22 years as a West Ham fan before leaving must leave strong feelings and he has probably supported them for years since he left in 2000.

I have seen a lot of Rio muppetry tbf but wasn't sure if he was actually a supporter or just a gleeful ex player that loves the club due to playing for so long here.
Pretty sure Rio was a Liverpool fan as a kid. Ole and O'Shea were also both Liverpool fans growing up. Obviously they all saw the light after joining us.

If players spend most of the best seasons of their career at a successful club, they'll tend to develop into fans of that club. I'm sure Terry is a full Chelsea fan now despite growing up a Utd fan, and there will be plenty of others.

Which one decapitated a horse and left the head in Perez’s bed?

Yeah but what is their hierarchy within Sky Italia, iirc Di Marzio is his boss. He may have more clout for nobodies like us but in reality he is mainly parroting what his redaction tells him. I think that we, muppets, put a bit too much weight on individuals.
Yeah, for Sky Italia, Romano works under Di Marzio. Everything that Romano reports concerning Italy comes directly from Di Marzio.

We’ve clearly got eyes on Haaland for next summer though, with the other glaring holes, we’d be daft to spend big on another striker this summer in my opinion. Ings or the like on the very cheap aye maybe.
