I'm old school

I liked this one, but it's somewhat tainted, because I bought one, first United kit I've owned since I was about 15. I even splashed out and got a name on the back. Mason fecking Greenwood. 2 months later he was out of the team.

This is my favourite home kit since post-SAF. Shame about that chevy emblem, but it's got a simple 80's look about it.

The treble season.

Actually worn for three seasons but only in Europe.
Honestly I wouldn’t have recognised that because most of our kits looked the same (to me, a younger person, who was born during the treble season) and they were mostly worn with long sleeves rather than short sleeves. I dunno, when I think about the champions league final I just don’t remember our shirts looking like that when I watched the highlights of the match.

I'm in the Chevy logo is dogshit camp. The only one I got post Fergie is this year's 3rd kit. Looks clean as feck.

No, your memory isn't to be relied upon in this case.

Everton switched to a new kit every season in 2002. http://historicalkits.co.uk/Everton/Everton.htm

Arsenal's 'redcurrant' Highbury tribute kit was in 2005. But they still didn't switch to one a season until 2014. That was 5 years after we switched to one new home kit and one new away kit every year in 2009. Chelsea changed in 2008.
This is a Mandela moment for me

Kits become great for me when we win something.

These are my picks. One for each manager, generation, who won a trophy too.

What’s crazy is that out of our FA Cup winning squad in 2015-16, only Shaw and Martial were also in the squad that won the FA Cup a week ago today.

The Moyes one would have to be the worst, its tainted. The start of the downfall. You can't look at it without seeing Januzaj in your mind wearing it.

That home kit would have looked SO much better without the big white bits at the end of the sleeves. Those look so out of place.
