I want your favourite post SAF kits. I also want your worst, most hated, least liked. And I want photos.

I really liked this one.

Hated this one

And this is the worst

If the new leaked kits are the ones for next season then the white one could be the new winner for the best one. Even the black keeper jersey look immense as well.

18/19 and 21/22 were the best home kits. Dogshit seasons to go with them though

18/19

21/22

I really like the cleanness of this.
Only thing I'd change would be including the actual trefoil pattern instead of the blue lines, to reflect the '90 kit.

15/16 away was great

A good black one is always nice

22/23 was class as well but tarnished by that result

I'd rank the 18/19 one as our worst home kit of all time. Amazed people liked it.

I think our best post 2013 home kit has possibly been this last season's. A great balance of our three core colours and a memorable Cup final win seals its place in the memory.

I did really like the first one in the thread, but the sponsors logos ruined it and it was missing a touch of white on the shirt.

Absolutely anything with that Chevy logo on it can get right in the bin.

Loved these kits. The green monstrosity from this season is one of the worst ones we've ever had.

The massive and ugly Chevy logo is fecking awful and basically ruins any shirt that it’s on.

It is the 2021/2022 kit and is not even close. It was simple and beautiful!

I wish we would keep a lot for more then 1 season. We only get 1 or two iconic moments per season which isn't many when you have 3 kits per year.

feck arsenal and Chelsea for moving the world to 1 kit per year

Love this years green shirt - one of my favourites.... probably this one along with the 17-18 away kit are my two top picks.

In terms of home kits, probably 2015.

Pictures of beautiful people in beautiful shirts:

It was Everton who did that first in the Premier League as far as I can see.

From what I remember:

Parliament were at least discussing requiring clubs to put fewer kits out because it's a lot of money for families. This was never made law or went any further as clubs were mostly doing every 2 years anyway.

Arsenal put out a special kit to celebrate being invincible which was a new kit after 1 year

Chelsea put out a special kit to celebrate being alive 100 years or something.

And that was it, all the clubs went to yearly kits.

That's from memory so I might be wrong.

Don't remember Everton being an early adopter of yearly kits, but then all the Everton kits look identical anyway.

ever since fergie we’ve been eartha kitt.

The home kit and white away kit from 16/17 are beautiful. Not much topping those although the 19/20 home kit comes close.

The home kit and blue away kit from Joses first season get special mention for winning trophies in them. Same as last years home kit and this years.

Most of the away jerseys in recent years have been awful though.

Top 3
1. 13/14 Home
2. 22/23 Home
3. 13/14 Away (Blue)

Bottom 3
1. 20/21 Third (Zebra)
2. 22/23 Third (Brighton day)
3. 15/16 Third (Halloween Alternate)

i always enjoyed the kits with the collar ( so I could do an Eric) and we went years without one until below which is my favorite of the recent ones although the OPs one with the black crest is a close second. Actually a combination of those 2 would be my ideal jersey. Adidas designs are way ahead of Nike for me generally though.

No, your memory isn't to be relied upon in this case.

Everton switched to a new kit every season in 2002. http://historicalkits.co.uk/Everton/Everton.htm

Arsenal's 'redcurrant' Highbury tribute kit was in 2005. But they still didn't switch to one a season until 2014. That was 5 years after we switched to one new home kit and one new away kit every year in 2009. Chelsea changed in 2008.

Our Adidas kits have been subpar more often than not.

The ones that really stick out as great are the 19/20 home shirt and the third shirt from last season. Both are beautiful in their simplicity and subtle accents. I'd even throw the 18/19 third kit in as an example of how to nail it with a third kit.

We've had so many horror show kits with Adidas it's not even funny...neon green 22/23, zebra 20/21, vat of grease 19/20, pink 18/19, two black kits with orange accents for some reason...it really makes you wonder who is designing these monstrosities and how they keep their jobs.

Those have to be the worst.

Still, I’d much rather have Adidas or Nike over Puma.

I believe it's middlesbrough who have been changing their kits every season the longest.

I'd rather have Adidas over Puma, for sure, but Nike over anything.

Going back to Umbro would actually be cool too, but I think they're just a subsidiary of Nike these days anyway.

I usually love our white kits and this season's the best white kit we've had since the 12/13 season. Home one for me is 21/22. Simple and understated. I've always preferred having white instead of black as the accent colour, though the 19/20 one ran close (ruined by the Chevy logo, surprise surprise)

My girlfriend hates the 3rd kit from this season as she’s a lifelong Corinthians fan. When I showed it to her recently, she went, “arrgghh, looks like Palmeiras!”

Luke Shaw is really holding his breath in there!
