The next five fixtures are:

1) Leicester - Premier League
2) Barcelona - Europa League
3) Newcastle - EFL Cup Final
4) West Ham - FA Cup
5) Liverpool - Premier League

A tough run and players will need a rest at some point. So curious as to which of those fixtures you would prioritise if you had to?

West Ham would be bottom of the list by a mile. I'd rest everyone there and try and get everyone on the pitch for others.

1. Newcastle
2. Liverpool
3. Barcelona
4. Leicester (might rest one or two here)
99. West Ham

Newcastle - it's a final
Barcelona - big knockout match
Liverpool - rivalry
West Ham - knockout
Leicester - Newcastle just lost, confident of top 4

Leicester

Next match is always the most important. Focus on that only. Don't get complacent.

1. EFL Final - no silverware for 6 years is embarrassing
2/3 Leicester and Liverpool - we need to keep our lead in the Top 4 race and also be ready in the unlikely event both Arsenal and City stumble
4. Barcelona - it’s a high profile tie and it would give us a boost to go through
5. West Ham - don’t care and I would have played a weaker team against Reading

This

1. Winning a trophy
2. Beating the scouse.
3. Keeping the outside shot at the league alive.

The Europa and the FA cup games can mostly get fecked, but would still of course be quite nice.

I'd prioritize every other game from that list. So the PL and the final. If I ranked them it's be-Newcastle, Leicester, Liverpool, Barcelona, West Ham.

  1. Newcastle
  2. Barcelona
  3. Liverpool
  4. West Ham
  5. Leicester
Big run this. I would put money on us not beating Liverpool away at Anfield when we are in that run of games. Which is fine. Away to Liverpool is a write off pretty much every year in my eyes, even when Sir Alex was here. Home to Barcelona, West Ham and Leicester, should be doing well at Old Trafford. Newcastle in the cup final obviously the biggest game by far. But Barcelona the second biggest. Huge chance for us to make a statement in the tie after our great performance in Spain.

If I had to pick 3 to win and 2 to lose, I'd win the cup games and toss the league games aside. We have a buffer, we'll be fine there especially as the others are faltering. The cup games here are the more important for this next 5.

I genuinely think we’re sneaking into a title race so I’m saying PL games are priority to be honest.
FA cup is lowest, then Barca, than Carabao

Win Cup Final
Beat Lpool
Rest doesn't matter if we're just considering these 5.

1. Newcastle
2. Barcelona
3. Liverpool
4. Leicester
5. West Ham

If Arsenal had dropped points today then would have moved Barca fixture to 4th. But still seems an outside chance of anything in the league

1- Newcastle - EFL Cup Final
2- Leicester
3- Barcelona - EL
4 - Liverpool
5- West Ham - FA

Newcastle
Leicester
Liverpool
Barcelona
West Ham

Leicester only above Liverpool as a good result tomorrow means we still have an outside shot at the title

Newcastle it's a final
Barcelona it's Barcelona
Liverpool it's Liverpool
Leicester rather keep up the pressure on the upper fellas
West ham low priority at this point seeing where we are now

For me it would be.

Newcastle
Barcelona
Liverpool
Leicester
West Ham

Newcastle far and away the priority because it's the easiest path to a trophy, comes with no additional games if we win and it would actively be a let down if we lose.

Assuming we win that, I don't really care that much about adding a second domestic trophy. Plus progressing just keeps our schedule insanely pressured. So West Ham comfortably bottom.

The league games in the middle as I don't think either a title challenge or dropping out of the top four are particularly realistic, so we just need to keep ticking along. And of the two Liverpool is always the more important, because it's Liverpool.

And then Barcelona just ahead of both of them as a European trophy would be a nice extra dimension to the season, as would progressing past one of the giant European clubs in the process. And looking at the other teams left in the competition, we would have a good chance of winning if we get past Barca.

Next game is the most important so

Leicester
Barca
Cup Final
Pass
Dippers

Win those two league games and I think we might be in an actual title challenge so I'd put those ahead of Newcastle, Barcelona and West Ham in that order.

In the big picture I still think securing top 4 is the highest priority. That being said, a trophy in ETH's first season would be a big accomplishment.

I'd look at the cup final as the match where you really want to field your strongest eleven, so I guess that'd be my top priority.

Leicester we should be able to get past fielding a mix of first and second choice.

The Barca match...ehh. I was not impressed by them at all. I fancy us to win on Thursday with whatever eleven ETH thinks is best.

As they come:

1) Leicester - Premier League
2) Barcelona - Europa League
3) Newcastle - EFL Cup Final
4) West Ham - FA Cup
5) Liverpool - Premier League

A defeat in each game eliminates us from the corresponding title so they are all equally important. Thank feck ten Hag sees it that way and not like some of the numpties on here.

Agreed, we haven’t been in a title race since SAF left, if ever there was a sign we’re ready to compete with the elite it isn’t going to winning the Carabao, it’s going to be being within 3 points of whoever wins the title going into the last day of the season and having that chance.

Newcastle
Liverpool
Barcelona
West Ham
Leicester

This is on how nervous either of these games make me. West Ham being knockout game gives it extra importance.

Man we’re in for crazy few weeks.

Liverpool not making top 4 is high on my priority list, so I would go with
1 Liverpool
2 Newcastle
3 West Ham
4 Leicester
5 Barca

I would like to knock Barcelona out, but the EL itself is not a priority and the fact that it will take additional 6 games to reach the final, makes it even less attractive.
The FA cup however is worth giving a go this year as it is up for grabs with so many of the big teams already knocked out.

This.

The final is the most important .. then the next league games in the order in which they come. We’re round of 16 in the FA cup so that has to matter more than the Barcelona match.

=1. Newcastle & Barcelona
3. Liverpool
4. Leicester
5. West Ham

1) Leicester - Premier League
2) Barcelona - Europa League
3) Newcastle - EFL Cup Final
4) West Ham - FA Cup
5) Liverpool - Premier League

Looking beyond the next game gets you beat.

1) Leicester - Premier League
2) Barcelona - Europa League
3) Newcastle - EFL Cup Final
4) West Ham - FA Cup
5) Liverpool - Premier League

Treat them as they come.

1- Newcastle - obviously
2- Barcelona - likely our 2nd best chance of a trophy and after the performance in the 1st leg the 2nd leg now takes on more importance to see the job through
3- Leicester - because it's the next game
4- Liverpool - meh can't really think about this game yet
5- West Ham - obviously the least important

Newcastle (if it was someone like wolves it would be under Liverpool)
Barcelona
Liverpool
Leicester

If we win the final and the game vs Barca, I honestly don't care if we go out of fa cup. I actually kinda hope to, so we can focus on league and EL.

1. Newcastle

Win a trophy. It will be a big milestone early into ETH’s tenure.

2. Liverpool
3. Leicester

We’re still in with a chance of winning the league. Win the next two games and I think we’ll really believe we can do it. Liverpool is more important due to the rivalry but also because we don’t want to give them any hope of catching us

4. Barcelona

It would obviously be nice to beat Barcelona but if we win the League cup and stay on track in the league then winning the Europa league doesn’t give us much reward for the amount of extra fixtures it costs us. We’ve given a good account ourselves on the big stage in the first leg so pretty content whatever the outcome. I would be rotating heavily in the next round if we get through.

5. West Ham. They’re not in the best form and they need to concentrate on PL survival. Rotate and hope for the best.

But we most likely won't win the league and a trophy after 6 years without one is very important for the ream and to show that we can actually win one with this team.
