Admirable resilience.

I gave up on post two describing two-times CL winner Cristian Panucci as "a cheap 1m player on CM 00".

It's clear way too many just listed "random players" they only knew through a PC game.

Newcastle had some guy called Chris Williamson a few years ago I think. Totally irrelevant, but within his own circles, probably by far the most relevant person anyone knows. Totally forgettable chap, who people probably wonder why he lives in a mansion everyday.

Well put. Maybe a bit of an age thing going on here too, because some of the names are world class players, and one can only imagine the only exposure they had to them was at the tail end of their careers or, as you say, through earlier editions of Championship Manager.
