Swap for rashford?

No, just lose Rashford.

RKM is bang average. Another Zirkzee.

I appreciate he's cheap(er), but we really do not need another forward who fails to consistently score goals, and is famous for bottling his biggest chance.

That doesn't mean I need to furnish you viable replacements, either. We need better than RKM.

Agreed I’m not saying RKM is the answer but maybe a loan swap for the rest of the season might not be the worst thing.

What's the point?

We need a goalscorer. You may as well retain Rashford than swap him for another inconsistency.

It might work, and if it happens I'd gladly devour me humble pie, but I do not see it.

It's another conundrum with our famously terrible recruitment. We know who to ship out but cannot acquire an improving replacement.

Does Muani put in a shift at least? Depending on if he does or not and his wage demands, I'd say it's best if the club did a swap deal for Rashford.

Look at it this way, we get rid of player we will more than likely struggle to, we get a player in return who can play ball and put in a shift (not another Antony kinda way). We removed the contract of Rashford.

Like realistically, we just get rid of Rashford, we are already on a wafer thin squad depth.

Always looks a bit ungainly when I’ve watched him, but I know he had some promise when he was a bit younger. Is there a good player in there?

Not in the Antony kind of way

Poor bastard can’t even try hard properly

Another Frankfurt pump and dump. Stay away

I think he is bang average, hopefully we don't go anywhere near him.

No need packing average players we will be looking to shift after 2 seasons

Not convinced by this guy. Swap deal, just maybe. Otherwise, it's a hard pass from me

He's awful every time I watch him. Hope we stay far away from anyone PSG tries to dump on us.

Selling him cheaply would be horrendous for PSG‘s FFP, if they care about stuff like that…

Oh I wish the Muani obsession on here would just go away. The same with Jonathan David. It's the same stuff, different year. One year one and they're as rubbish as they were in previous years.

Not as good as Osimhen or Gyokeres.
Only thing for him is that he’s cheaper but we don’t need another gamble

Why go back until 2020 for Osimhen but only until 2023 for Gyokeres, who is older?

Chelsea very much care. Or why do you think so many players have been given seemingly infinite contracts?

And PSG care, that's why the team is full of teenagers.

Absolutly. But I was still surprised when I checked their transfers for this and the last season and saw that they spent €620m (while selling for €270m. Saudi really saved them). :wenger:

Yeah, they sold or lost a lot of senior players that were on massive wages, that's how things are balanced out.

Didn't the rules change in the summer, shortening the amount of contract years that can be used towards FFP? Didn't stop Chelsea handing out a contract until 2031 to Neto. The main reason seems to protect the value of the player and possibly the wage structure.

Because i couldn’t find the info easily earlier. Anyway added it now.

Better to compare 2 latest seasons.

Rashford is our academy graduated. It’s best to sell him for cash not for swap deal because it will help massively for the FFP. If we’re going to do swap deal, it needs to be top class goalscorer or someone that has value of £80m or something.

Don't think any club in the world would trade Rashford for a player worth 80 million.

I think his reputation is so bad that we will find it difficult to sell just like the price of Sancho dropped off a cliff. His contract makes it even worse. He's on what now? 270k he's not even worth 100k a week.
