I’ve been a fan of Pochettino for a long time, but we must talk to Hasenhuttl. The job he has done is impressive.
For that to happen we might need PSG to assist us and sign up Pochettino which would force our club to look at Hassenhuttl among others.
Can he really be put on the same pedastal that Pep and Klopp were on prior to their moves to City and Liverpool?!
I do believe daddy daddy might want want want, especially if the other option is Poch.

Nope but he's CV is quite impressive to not think he can go up that level. He took two different Bundesliga teams facing relegation at the time he arrived to promotion within two season. He also took Leipzig who had just been promoted to second place in the Bundesliga.
When you think how he's got this group of players playing on a whole other level to previous managers, didn't lose them when things were unbelievably low, it really is food for thought isn't it.
Southampton are very impressive, tactically very aware and all the players are able to play first time passes and exploit space. None of the players individually are that good so definitely a case of the system making the sum better than the whole of the parts.
The question would be though if he could implement that at a big team with far more ego's and big names to manage.
Also not sure how good his recruitment is which is a big part of the job.

Because the offer would be to manage Manchester United

Considering the squad he’s got he’s doing an incredible job.
Because the manager of Southampton is not going to turn down United. It’s irrelevant that we’re mid season. We won’t go for him anyway so it’s a moot point.
Get rid of Pogba for starters. Mata and Lingard as well.
They've controlled this game so well and all without Ings. This is why having a good coach is so important - replacements come in and know their job and the whole team doesn't have to adapt to them. I would honestly take him as first choice above Poch the more I think about it, they play such an entertaining brand of footie and with such average players.

He has no right to be doing so well with that squad at all. And people say our squad is poor

After Rose, I'd be equally interested in him as I would Nagelsmann. Not too keen on Poch.
His brand of football, and the way he's got this group of player achieving it is mightily impressive.

I just think that the players know that they are at a level that isn't right at the top, stow the egos and play for the manager. We are of course very different to Man Utd, and I think the players at the top are so much more diva-ish.
Not being arrogant but he has already told that he wants to show the world what he can achieve and thats why he took the Southampton job. He has taken them as far as he can. A big job like this doesn't come very often and he would obviously look for a jump.
Doubling the salary will help.

Whichever big club eventually takes the punt (probably Spurs or Chelsea) will be rewarded.

Now you see how I rate him even above the likes of Nagelsmann
. But seriously, Nagelsmann is obviously a very talented coach but I sometimes have the impression that he's tinkering with his teams a bit too much (not unlike Pep). Also helps that I absolutely love that kind of high octane football. I'd like to see Hasenhüttl coaching a top team and given time to implement his philosophy. Someone like Pogba would need to improve his work rate significantly for that kind of football though.He's not going to leave them mid season

Even if that happened, I think he's proven that he can implement a top class pressing style coupled with excellent player movement. They've had quite a couple of games where they were playing some very exquisite football with not exactly the most technical squad in the league.
