No point to make a complex point with philosophers like you around.

right! complex point where you loved this starting line up.

im a ***********, you are a student?

got things wrong today, il let you pass :D

You really need to be mental to claim some catalyst for shit that will happen under ETH, only thing that happened under him is that players let their masks fall completely.

I can’t wait for Austria to start playing beautiful gegenpress football & then have the CAF explode about why he didn’t get our lads doing it.

Well he tried and they done it all for 30mins against Palace.

For Tuchel & Klopp both to sing his praises, he must be doing something right, he can’t be this bad.

It’s the fecking players!!!

I think it’s both. He wasn’t an experienced emergency manager to deliver the quick fix and the cnuts in the dressing room saw it from day one.

Depends, thing with Ole is that he more than likely would have gone on a run and got us 4th at some point (mostly to do with how terrible the competition for 4th is). Issue is that might have been enough for the board to keep him in the job another year and not started the work on restructuring the scouting and recruitment.

Rangnick has exposed a lot of things, some intentionally and some by being a very poor coach. Might be worthwhile in the long run but my god as bad as the players are I have never seen us this poorly coached.

Mostly his own coaching ability.

Still not what you said. I have zero idea when it was signed tbh.
Well everyone knows he has a 2 year consultancy contract as it was announced at the start.

If he was as important as you lot think there's no way we'd be letting him go manage Austria because he'd have a proper role here.

Well coaching is not only about tactics .. man management comes to play..and game changing tactics
It is a different thing being a coach of 2nd division club and Man Utd..
He is the most useless appointment we have ever made..
Play the kids if you feel the players are not giving all. Give them experience.. If you feel players don't deserve to be here next year.. don't play them..Put up the kids..

The Rangnick experiment has failed spectacularly.

The only positive is he has exposed half of the jokers in our dressing room. Hard reset needed now.

How i understood, Austria or not he would never have proper role, he would give his 5 cents if asked, maybe i am wrong.

Rangnick managerial stats:
W 11 D10 L7 39.28%

past Dave Sexton, worst since Frank O’Farrell, 1972. 50 years.

And theres stupid cnuts who defend him

And yes I'm talking to you

(not you @DSG)

Keeping him around the club as a consultant is the same as having a permanent stinking rotten fart in an small enclosed area.

So, you have no idea if the club want him around or not? Thought as much. How could any of us know.

Conceded 16 in our last 5 away games so says Sky

RR ladies and gentlemen

I m guessing this hasn't really worked out  . The hype for him was unreal at the time. The "godfather of the gegenpressing". Have other managers speaking well of him. This just shows how important emotional intelligence is in football. Eth better learn from this and not try to emulate Ralf so much.

Yeah people acting like he was the mentor of Tuchel, Klopp and co yet at the end of our match against Chelsea they gave the briefest of handshakes making it pretty apparent they share little apart from nationality. It is pretty apparent now why he hasn't seriously managed in a decade apart from a self-appointed spell at Leipzig. Probably also a reason he was in Russia as well. Maybe publically calling out players isn't a great way to go about things when you are not doing your job yourself.

He’s been awful, an absolutely dreadful appointment.

We’d have been no worse with Ole or Carrick in post, but the club had to act and the scholar of football was the best/only short term option.

The funniest thing is there will still be blind witnesses that swear by everything he does :lol::lol:

It really is a cult at this stage.

He’s the worst post-Ferguson manager we’ve had. Perhaps in with a shout for worst ever.

Definitely wrong man for an interim job. Too different a style and fitness required. This had been a disaster from a footballing perspective for this season.

The players are accountable, sure. But just the way he is organizing the defense, it’s incredibly naive. Telles and Dalot might be the worst fullbacks, defensively, in the league. Dalot was partially to blame for two of the goals, yet he keeps picking him.

The players have given up, but has Ralf given up too?

Well he definitely failed in his interim role. Not that we cared/expected much.

Did he ever actually try though?

He seemed to come in and look at us for 30 minutes then decided he would spend the rest of his time slagging off the players the staff and anyone else he saw at the club.

I've no doubt he has told the cleaning staff and catering staff how useless they are too on a daily basis

Think about it, mate.

First LVG wasn't good enough, then it was Jose, then Ole and now Rangnick. Are we really expected to believe all 4 of them spectacularly failed, while the players once again escape accountability for their consistently appalling performances?

We really have made terrible appointments post-Fergie. Every single one of them has been fecking terrible. Let's hope ETH bucks that particular trend.

He plays "rock and roll" football where you hoof it long then score by pressing. Surely the board thought our players could pull this off, and were catastrophically wrong.

Expecting him to be able to figure out some system and style to get the best of these misfits is another task entirely, a very difficult one that I don't think any coach could have pulled off, especially with our injuries and the legal issue with another.

What he's done successfully is come into teams and change their system while bringing in top young players that few others had their eyes on.

I think the board thought he could start the style change and they'd bring in a like minded coach to continue the work. But they're so out of shape there's no hope of a pressing game, and admittedly Ralf's solutions to what to do next failed.

Not that anyone can name a style or system that would work for these joggers on our team. Playing the kids is the best alternative I've heard.

He has been pretty crap mate. As for the dressing room. I think it's got too much hip-hop culture, you know where it's seen as not cool to try your best.

Should have spent money on a short-term specialist instead of The cheap option.

I’m sure even Big Sam would have given some of these pricks a kick in the arse.

Dunno what people expected to happen under this failure feck, he wanted to press, cnuts couldnt do it, he wanted 4-2-2-2. cnuts couldnt play in such formation, he wanted them to train way harder so game would looks a cake walk, cnuts went to media complaining how training at evening or some shit is to much, i mean. After game one he made wrong decisions, sold out to adapt, got feck all in transfer window and deservedly will be judged as interim faiilure.

Yes. Those are all decent coaches who either stayed past their welcome or wasn't the correct fit.

Rangnick never even had a new manager bounce.

As a manager he deserves sacking just on principles.

But still be allowed to do the last press conference.

I hope he sets light to these players and really goes to town and shames the lot of them

….& yet if he was chummy with him he’d get criticism for being too matey. RR cannot win

@VP89 he's talking to you
Why are you tagging me? Im not absolving Ralf of blame, so stop making shit up with daft posts.

Yes he takes a huge responsibility, but these players are also long gone.

Do you have problems reading? This is a genuine question.
