Problem is who will pay and how much. We will look like complete idiots if we sell him for VdB money. And if we ask Pogba money, no one will pay because no one thinks he is worth that much.
SAF's evaluation of Pogba was very positive, he doesn't like Raiola though.
This was his quote on Pogba, not Raiola:Sir Alex Ferguson's evaluation was that Pogba was a terrific player. His own words. And he did everything he could to convince him to stay. The problem, according to Sir Alex, was that "his agent is a s**t bag". Had Sir Alex had his way, Pogba would have stayed.
Further quotes in the BBC article.
the point is to drive the price down so clubs can buy
Again, sarcasmHe's responsible for dealing with this situation after it's happened though.
No he shouldn’t play. Let him sit on the bench.
Exactly. There is no place for Pogba in the team now that we have found the creative engine we were looking for. Fernandes is the first name on in our lineup and Pogba unable to play further back in midfield. Get rid ASAP.I said it previously and I'll say it again. Bruno was everything we were expecting Pogba to be when we signed him 4 or 5 years ago. We were expecting him to be the main engine for the team creating every thing and having every play passing through him first. It took us 4 years of continuous excuses and continuously changing and shoehorning everyone in the squad trying to get Pogba to be this player. till we signed Bruno and he immediately became this kind of player from his first 2 matches with us.
the more toxic and untenable a players situation is, the less bargaining power the club has. Clubs will also cry covid, as we did with Sanchobut in this climate who is going to pay 60 million for him which I imagine no matter what he does is the minimum we would except?

Its just wishful thinking by fatty. There are no offers lining up for him. Else media would have been all over it.Wow, so he’s off in January. Wonder who fatty has lured to the table.
That's what I don't get. The majority of United fans want him gone. It has been shown that he is not really needed thanks to Bruno. If this is a contract ploy then I think Woodward will happily call his bluff because Pogba has shown feck all. All Woodward has to do is point to Bruno and tell Pogba to feck off
Totally agree with you. I used to point this out last time that Raiola opened his fat greedy mouth but it was dismissed by the fanboys. This was his quote on Pogba, not Raiola:
“Pogba signed for Juventus a long time ago as far as we’re aware,” the manager told MUTV at the time.
“It’s a bit disappointing because I don’t think he showed us any respect at all. To be honest, if they carry on that way, I’m quite happy that he’s away, from me, anyway.”
No one here is arguing that Ferguson never rated Pogba as a player, or that he didn't try to get him to say. Ferguson cited the player showed a lack of respect to the club which conditioned him and he obviously felt there was a duty of care from the player to the club to be patient and that his time would come. Ferguson said Pogba showed a lack of respect, which is why the poster said Ferguson was right. Today his spokesperson has come out like clockwork, again, disrespecting the club.
I believe we hoped for better money when we extended his contract till 2022.I don't know, would we? We've had him for a good few years and recouping half his fee wouldn't be too bad.
