Fair play to him, Evra give him the armband as he went off, who wouldn't want to keep it and stick it on.

Anybody remember Park doing the same thing? Think it was against Villareal. He put the armband on, the fans cheered wildly and he almost scored. Obviously like every match with Villareal, it ended 0-0...
Chill out. It wasn't a real match, in which case, all of our pseudo-captains were off the pitch. He put the armband on when coming in for Evra, and everyone could tell he was excited about the prospect of wearing it despite its lack of meaning under the circumstances. If it makes that much of a difference, who would you have given the armband to?
He wore it for ten minutes, it's not as if he's leading us out on a European night (Although if he was, I'd support him regardless of how smug you think he looks).
