Radja Nainggolan

This is basically his last chance to sign for a big team as he'll turn 30 next summer and no one will think of him anymore. He should be wise enough to take his last chance and leave a team who will win nothing at all.

If he came, Fabinho deal can be postponed or cancelled and depend on Herrera as a number 6 he's getting used to it, with Radja and Pogba box to box. They'll bully everyone.

We need to sign someone like him, Vidal, Keita or Sanches. A box to box beast.

Pogba could be that player but I think he would benefit more by being a "Lampard" type. We need a Roy Keane.
 
I'm pretty sure he has stated recently that he is staying in Roma

He is not better than Vidal and is a very different player to Kante. Also, what is wrong with his height?
 
How much? I assume Monchi already has set sights on the replacement and that's why they may entertain offers.

Hes 5'9.

The reason why i match Kante is because he was played in Kantes position last season and did it very good. He can be rotated to any position in midfield / CF now

Hes been better than Vidal this season and consistently good for 2/3 seasons.

Faster, better passer (long range and short), much better dribbler. Both have got good shots on them and both are probably tied in physicality.

I've watched him regularly and at times in his new CF role, he was just amazing, didnt look like a box to box mf, more like a no 10
 
Would be a perfect fit However I keep hearing he's got a new role for Roma. How exactly has he been playing. Can't say I've watched Roma at all this season.

I'd rate both of them at a similar level but Nainggolan having a better season shouldn't equate to him being a better player. Regarding his height, many of the great midfielders of the last decade or so have been under 5'10.
 
:drool: He is 29 though. So that is a big negative considering he would be very expensive. A midfield of Pogba and him with Herrera holding though would be absurdly good. Adds plenty of goals from midfield, bundles of energy, strength and gives us more options in terms of our depth. Both him and Pogba could play each others roles or play alongside each other in a 3, and would give us a very good balance in terms of the attack considering we are using a 4-3-3 and both love going forward but do their defensive work as well.

So yeah, even though he is 29, do it. Bring him in, then a striker who can get us 30 goals through the season (belotti?), a winger (Perisic?), left back (Mendy?) and a center back (Lindelof/Keane?) and we're fecking set. Nobody can say they wouldn't get excited with this team next season:

Agree both on that we need one and Pogba could be one. But having both Pogba and someone like Nainggolan or Keita next to each other could be ideal because they could take turns and rotate as the ones being more offensive and the other being more reserved, but both push forward and join the attack when needed. Split the creative burden basically, while having Herrera hold behind them. It seems like a perfect midfield to me. Also gives us an extra option in case one gets injured. If pogba is out, our team goes to shit. Get someone like them in and that wouldn't happen anymore.
 
This is his last chance to get a really big contract before retirement, his last chance to test himself at the very highest level, and realistically his last chance to win major trophies. I think if we put serious money on the table, which we always do, we have an excellent chance of signing him.

I'm just not sure if we want to.

Yeah that midfield with Herrera behind them would be a powerhouse. We will be able to bully most teams out of the park. He has a wicked shot on him too which is all the more reason to go in for him. Chelsea will be our main rivals for his signing.

Definitely seems interested going by that video.

Yes he loves Roma but they've just lost Totti and Salah, Juve are dominating and only getting stronger. He probably feels now is the right time to leave.
 
Is there any hope of this really happening? Seems like one of those guys that will just stay at Roma rest of his career.
 
Why I feel like if he would to join his aggressive style will lead him to get injuries, like all players who join us miraculously become injury prone.

While I cant see us signing Radja, even if we did I'd still sign Fabinho!

We need more quality in Midfield, so if we play 3 in midfield, choosing from Radja, Pogba, Herrera, Fabinho would be superb. Still have Carrick / Fellaini if injuries get too much.
 
If he came to this league, he would tear it up. His attitude on the pitch means he can't fail in the Prem IMO
