He's set to start production soon of his next film, titled "Inglorious Bastards".

Sure, the name sounds pretty cool, but the further you look into this project the worse its appears.

* Much of the dialogue is in French and German and will be shown with subtitles
* Set to "Star" Brad Pitt a Tennessee hillbilly who assembles a team of eight Jewish-American soldiers to take on the Nazis & Simon Pegg (aka Eyepopper) It seems Simon would play a British lieutenant.

Production is due to begin on October 13 in Germany and it is reportedly the aim to have it completed in time for next year's Cannes Film Festival.

Sounds terrible

Whats wrong with using foreign languages? Struggle with reading?

I will admit recently his ventures into directing of Grindhouse and producing Hostel have been farcical. But this project sounds like it could be decent.

I like most of Tarantino's stuff. Sounds decent so I will obviously wait until I see it to pass judgement.

Sounds good. I like Brad Pitt.

The script's here if anyone's interested. I thought it might be fake at first but after reading most of it, it seems pretty authentic.

Jesus, is nothing private no more?

Having read the script, I can confirm they all gang-rape Hitler in the end, I've no need to watch this now.

With regards to the whole subtitle issue, I just cant get into films with subtitles. Its the same with Hollyoaks omnibus, cant concentrate whilst some weird woman is flapping her hands all over the gaff.

Bastardface if you just typed out a fecking spoiler up there you'd better delete it before anyone else sees it.

And that is 'all wrong' how?

He and m night are very talented but have got caught up in their own hype

Seriously, I think it's wrong on so many levels, however if you look at his previous films on paper they didn't appear great.

Reservoir Dogs - majority of the film spent in one setting (the warehouse)
Pulp Fiction - End is the beginning, middle is the end, etc

I just think Simon Pegg, Subtitles, Hollywood Catalogue boy Brad Pitt, wont work. Besides I thought the last couple of mini-films he made were very poor also, after becoming accustomed to a high standard.

It feels like Tarantino is trying to prove to himself he can film every different type of film, and not succeeding, why bother, just stick to stuff you are brilliant at.

Too bad about that. Some of the best I've ever seen are in French.

Nothing you cite sounds terrible. If anything, it sounds interesting.

Shitting in someones handbag sounds interesting, this sounds like a disaster waiting to happen - but like stated earlier, Quentin has a knack of turning fims that sound terrible on paper look good, it is my opinion that I simply cannot see this working.

I should wait until I pass judgement on a film I havn't even seen though.

His films are always shit.

He is like modern art, people like his shit cos they think its cool, when really, it'sbollocks

Try watching some of his films. People like them because they are entertaining and they don't really have any hidden messages or agendas. Pure unadulterated entertainment.

Admitedly, i do enjoy some of his films but mostly because of the dialogue. They always have some very clever dialogue.

Jackie Brown is his best film by miles. The recent stuff is awful, and most of his films are overrated.

 Seriously?

Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are the stand outs for me.

I was expecting so much from Jackie Brown after his first two movies and i felt let down by it.

I didn't like that one at all

Yep, Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs are his best known films but they are overrated - There's a good hour or so in the middle of Pulp Fiction that is just boring (the whole Willis story) and it isn't as good as people make out.

Jackie Brown actually has characters, a plotline, character development and performances which go further than 'Generic Hitman No.1' and 'Big Mafia Boss'. I think Robert Forster acts everyone off the set personally.

Reservoir Dogs or Pulp Fiction for me as well, both are class, had it not been for Pulp Fiction Travolta would have been a commercial air pilot for American Airlines many years ago talk about career resurrection.

Further evidence of Tarantino's demise:

Quentin Tarantino to revive Britney Spears's career

FILMMAKER Quentin Tarantino, who revived the career of John Travolta with Pulp Fiction, is looking to do the same for Britney Spears.

The UK's Daily Telegraph reports Tarantino is close to signing the fallen pop singer for a star role in a remake of Russ Meyer's 1965 arthouse classic Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!

Spears would play a lesbian stripper who kills a young man and takes his girlfriend hostage as her love slave.

"Quentin is convinced Britney will be brilliant. She's delighted,'' an anonymous source told the Daily Telegraph.

Anyone that says Pulp Fiction is shit should be gangraped with scissors.

Lesbian stripper? What part of that doesn't sound good?!

He's a video rental store clerk that has a knack of 'reinventing' decent movies.

And he can't act for shit

Pulp Fiction is good, Reservoir Dogs is okay, Kill Bills are a complete waste of a lot of hours. I find him as a person exceedingly annoying. See cameos in films such as Little Nicky. His films are all style and no substance and he's really extremely overrated. The stuff he makes is usually watchable but nothing special. He almost managed to ruin From Dusk til Dawn for me but thankfully he died and the film was awesome.

When he was the guest doing the introductory voice thing on Ant and Dec's Saturday night fecking Takeaway.

This guy had the world at his feet during the 90's, and despite having face that looked like it was trying to slide off his skull, was effortlessly cool and intriguing. At one point probably one of the most innovative and creative film makers of my generation.

Nowadays he's introducing two giant Geordie foreheads run down a set of fecking studio stairs.
