Two potentially amazing games tomorrow. Looking forwards

Me too! Although going by the theme of this tournament they'll probably be borefests but who knows. The first QF has the potential to be entertaining, both teams have been pretty good so far. And at least we've got four big footballing nations in high-pressure games.

Looking forward to watching these tasty games. Spain and Portugal I want to go through.

Spain and Germany should give an entertaining match as so far they both went for it.

Portugal vs France could be a new record for the most boring match and help to calm people down after the rollercoaster before.

Germany never fail to entertain. Have never seen them set up defensively.

Spain must be hit favourite for the tournament now. You’d expect France to grind through to the semis

Agree, Spain have been the best team in the tournament for me. But tomorrow’s matches could still go either way. Germany have been good too and Portugal have a very strong team.

Now that you say that C.Ron probably have a renaissance tomorrow and finally score from a free kick ;)

Spain are being overrated.
I have been unfairly grumpy about Spain but I also think the team is overrated, although there are players who are doing very well. The thing is that there has been no better team and beating Albania and Georgia can be misleading, like the 7-0 win over Costa Rica in the World Cup.
Rodri gives me a lot of confidence, very superior. The bad thing is that we have never beaten a Euro or World Cup host.

The rhythm and flow of your football makes you the most aesthetically pleasing side, and I think people believe you’ll just show linear progression and smash every side the same way as you have dispatched your opponents thus far.

Thing is, you’ve yet to be tested in a two-way game or against a side with superior athleticism to your own. Things have been perfect for your football thus far, but some of the teams remaining will provide a very different test and make you work in ways you haven’t yet, and then that wave after wave of attack will be diluted and much harder to execute. I think that’s when we’ll see what you’re really made of.

You’re a good team, but remains to be seen whether you are a great one, yet I think many are treating you as such, which is premature.

It looks like France v Spain in the semi to me . I think Spain are a bad match up for the Germans , likewise Portugal France .

I give Portugal more of a chance to get through than I do the Germans , and I picked them to win it .

Spain have been easily the best team but I don't think they'll win the tournament.

Strange but that's how I feel.

The only think that matters is which game is Matterface doing

You get the feeling French players are perhaps more concerned about politics and the far right getting support over football. All the headlines surrounding the French squad pertain to elections when usually there'd be rumors of infighting if France wasn't scoring and clicking by this stage.

If they get to the final they win it for me. Much much stronger than anyone on the opposite side.

They can get unstuck against a team like France. But i hope they win it. Or Germany.

Oh yeah definitely - I just think they'll lose one of their next 2 games. Probably France if they beat Portugal.

I think Spain will beat France to be fair. If anyone’s going to stop Spain it will be their opponents tomorrow. France haven’t scored an open goal yet this tournament. That will be their downfall.

Mbappé's injury, though he can still play, has diminished France's chances.

Spain are my favourite to win the tournament. I feel like their weakness (defence) matches Germany's weakness (attack) but that their strength in midfield outclasses Germany's.

Still find it odd how all the best teams in the tournament have ended up on one side of the draw. Meanwhile Netherlands finish 3rd and get the easiest route ever.

Mbappes been awful anyway. Only scored a penalty all France’s other goals have been scored by the opposition. Agree with Spain’s midfield being stronger than germanys. I love Spanish midfielders there so good on the ball.

They have to face Southgate’s team yet!

Boring 1-0 wins with own goals being the scorer.

I do not see Portugal threatening France today if Cristiano Ronaldo starts.

Oh I see the Ronaldo show is back on tonight. Good, good, need a good laugh.

Set up to be amazing so does that mean it will be two drab games?

Going to miss these because I have a game this evening.

Germany and Portugal to go through.
