Q Math Proof that Trump is the Devil
Q is 17
Trump is 45
Devil is 666

Trump says he needs 11,780 votes.
11,780
1+1+7+8+0 = 17
Trump is the 45th President
Add 45 to 1,1780 and you get
11,825
1+1+8+2+5 = 17
45+11,825=11,870
1+1+8+7+0=17
45+11,870=11,915
1+1+9+1+5=17
45+11,915=11,960
1+1+9+6+0=17
45+11,960=12,005
12+5=17
45+12,005=12,050
12+5=17
12,050+45=12,095
1+2+9+5=17
12,095+45=12,140
Now add the sign of the Devil 666 to 12,140 and you get 12,806
1+2+8+0+6 = 17
45+12,806=12,851
1+2+8+0+6=17
sign of the Devil 666+12,851=13,517
1+3+5+1+7 = 17
45+13,517=13,562
1+3+5+6+2 = 17
45+13,562=13,607
1+3+6+0+7=17
45+13,607=13,652
1+3+6+5+2=17
sign of the Devil 666+13,652 =14,318
1+4+3+1+8=17
45+14,318=14,363
1+4+3+6+3=17
14,363+45=14,408
1+4+4+0+8=17
14,408+45=14,453
1+4+4+5+3=17
14,453+45+666=15,164
1+5+1+6+4=17
15,164+45=15,209
1+5+2+0+9=17
15,209+45+15,254
1+5+2+5+4=17
15,254+666=15,290
1+5+9+2+0=17
Trump is 45 and 666

Minus 1 that's 3, quick maths.

If nothing else, it’s been fascinating to follow the development of a completely insane and deluded cult from niche internet message boards to storming the seat of power in the USA. So dystopian.
It’s like watching a modern day religion getting formed.

Exactly! They mention this in the Rolling Stone article you linked. Absolutely fecking bananas. Crazy crazy times we’re living through.
You have to wonder if contemporaries of Joseph Smith looked upon the creation of Mormonism with the same awe, incredulity, & worry as we are now looking at Qanon developing.

I’m sure some were, but not to the ‘mouth agape’ level we have.

Yeah but the thing with religions is that back then people had no fecking clue about anything and everyday a big bright ball would turn up at the edge of your range of vision except for some days where water would pelt into your face for no fecking reason and you could die from a runny nose. So they get a bit of leeway for thinking everything is controlled by a bearded fella with an occasionally mean streak. But nowadays? There should be no room for anyone coming up with Mormonism at the time let alone in the 21st century. fecking idiots the lot.

It’s the original fake news, even back then. Men controlling other less educated men through fairytales that incited abject fear.

We’re just seeing the weaponized version of it these days.

So, in the spirit of goodwill (thanks @oates, you bugger) I've been thinking about the popularity of Q and the reasons for that.

A big part of this movement is related to the secret cabal of child molesters. It's quite likely that a high number of Q supporters were abused as children. Victims of abuse often blame themselves or feel somehow culpable for what happened to them, so to have this massive agreement that such behaviour is organized, undertaken and covered up by the powers that be is enticing would probably have an effect of absolving some of the guilt that these victims feel (I think that without therapy or very high intelligence, most victims probably don't get away from those feelings of culpability).

The sad fact is that most abuse is carried out by those closest to you. Immediate or extended family members, family friends or neighbours. They often retain some sort of hold over their victims as part of the abuse. QAnon likely gives many of its followers some comfort that they are not alone, that it was not their fault and that justice is coming.

If this is correct, how does society fix this?

I don't really think your premise is necessarily correct. Do we have any statistics or studies to suggest this? It seems likely, but it doesn't have to be.

It may not be, but years of watching shows like Maury Povich and that other guy lead me to belilve that child sexual abuse is rampant in society.

What'd I do?

I read some of the latest statistics a week or so ago, I'll look and see if I can find it but along the lines of between 40 and 50% who were sexually abused as children go on to abuse. But I feel I need to check that.

I'm blaming you for your comments yesterday.

Yes, lots of abusers go on to abuse but that leaves plenty who don't and their lives are generally on the shitty side; whether through substance abuse, depression, etc.

I don't know how to fix the greater issue, but after helping organize a storming of the US Capitol, the FBI might just wanna crack down on them. Just maybe.

Labelling them as a terrorist group and keeping them off the mainstream internet would be a decent start.

Bloody Hell, that's not much of a clue. It must have been controversial. Doesn't sound like me.

The stuff about not dehumanising each other and healing division, etc. Maybe Penna was posting from your account again?

That? I think I'm saying originally that certain descriptions could appear to be gleeful or de-humanising and to my mind any unnecessary death is sad, or tragic. I know there are people we feel strongly about but the problem isn't going to go away, that's if people want the problems to go away, by seeing the opposition as less than human. In any case not my circus, not my monkeys but the poster who I commented this to - @calodo2003 , seems to me to have taken it to heart and has been like a dog with a bone ever since.

Well that can apply here as well is what I'm suggesting, so it's all your fault! :p

Oh feck this, now he’s going after dogs too!

To be fair it usually is I suppose but it's a forum of opinions as well and I'm not here to have a go at people but I am going to try and be constructive. No need for anyone to build chips on their shoulders really.

I'm starting to think that those people on twitter who said he was Antifa weren't being truthful.

The feck did I potentially do now?

Wow Jack is a great guy, kudos for taking action and nipping this in the butt good and early.
