Some people on IMDB.com are actually thinking it might be, and I stress MIGHT be Sara's head, considering that Fox has axed her from the show. A little bit too brutal though so I don't see it happening.

She's one of the most untouchable character in that series.. (at least for me..)
Knew about her contract not being renewed last week actually, so was sorta expecting her head in the box.
This probably means season 4 will be Scofield bringing down the Company single handedly as revenge.
Seconded. I discussed with one of the writers, also he posted on a forum and said to look out for episode 6 "Photo Finish", he said it's one of the best episode ever and Michael will exact revenge.
season 3 has been shite so far, the only reason i am watching Prison Break is because I want to know the ending after bearing with it for 2 seasons, in terms of excitement and writing, it has been shite so far

I'm sure most of you who watched last nights episode, know that our nightmare has been confirmed. The episode, Fox and Sarah have confirmed that she will NOT be returning to the show at all. Our Sara Tancredi is dead.

I can't believe the way they killed her off, thats the sort of thing you would do to a character that was hated, not loved. There is no dignity or peace in the way they did it for us. I don't feel, at all that her character is at peace now. It was way too violent for a character we love to die that way.
I wish Sarah all the best in the future, but I would have must rather have had her in this season for 13 episodes. I don't understand why either parties could not have come to an agreement, for the fans at least.

I loved Sara, but she was getting a bit too spiritual and menstrual and high maintenance in Season 2, just not horny enough anymore. They might've had a little more imagination killing her off though, just ripping off Se7en, does that make them guilty of Envy, Gluttony or Sloth? Either way Prison Break needs some Kevin Spacey justice now

Im glad she's out of it, she was a pain in the arse near the end of season 2. At least her death can now be a catalyst to spark some life into Michael.
