I could see Ings playing hardball for a move and signing for us for Brandon Williams (who Hassenhutl apparently likes) and say 15M to Southampton, if we do sell Martial this summer. We'd have Ings and Cavani up top with Greenwood getting one more year before he's a fulltime 9 when Cavani leaves in the summer of 2022, with Ings as the other 9 to compete with him and we sign Sancho/a RW either this summer or the next, or Grealish if we love him that much and are okay playing Rashford on the right to accommodate him.

I don't see him going to Arsenal or back to Liverpool, even though he makes a lot of sense for them competing with Firmino. Spurs there are rumours and he'd be a good backup for Kane, but is that what he wants, to only get minutes when Kane is hurt or for 10 minutes off the bench? I would say City because he'd fit them well since they badly need a stone cold finisher and he's sort of a discount Van Persie, but I think they're gonna be way more ambitious in replacing Aguero. If Jesus was having a great year I'd say then maybe they spend on LB and a new David Silva playmaker instead. Chelsea have too many forwards.

Because his wages aren't insane, he actually seems like a reasonably candidate to move abroad and play for a most of the time CL team like Atalanta, Sevilla or even Atletico (if Dembele is a disaster there, Ings seems like a nice fit with Joao Felix).
