I agree. There’s a Bournemouth supporter on the caf who said last season that he wouldn’t go for less than £50M. I thought that was mental at the time but having seen some prices bandied about for other players £50M would be a bargain. And that’s where we’re at In today’s market.... £50M for a someone with potential.

I think he is much more than just potential. He could come in and instantly improve us. I see him as similar to Adnan Januzaj, except he isn't constantly diving and looking to get players booked.

I don't think Brooks has the pure speed to be a long term option on the right wing, but I think he could be great in a free role or playing off a striker. Basically, give him the role that Lingard and Mata seem to have, and he would be good for us.

I reckon it's total bs but from a quick read on his Wikipedia profile, it would be awesome. Tragically I think we're bound to the Glazers for the foreseeable future.

This is no rumour. He said so himself in an recent interview. The interview was very long and the Utd mention brief. He was talking about being diligent and how his company has never had a failure, in light of their newly announced sports sponsorship deals - Team Sky is being rebranded to Team Ineos (there was also a small foreign football club, but I can't remember which team or what country). In that context, he spoke about a potential takeover of Man Utd, but the quoted figures from the Glazers were too high.

Note iirc he is a Man Utd supporter but as he lives in London he holds a season ticket for Chelsea. Make of that what you will.
