Bolded makes the world go round. Spurs are probably paying them way below what they could get at other top clubs. If there's any truth to this (it's the sun after all), that's plenty enough reason to want to move.

There still Spurs at the same time. I'm sure there has been times when Valencia have been onto something good (infact they actually won the league title) it wouldn't stop their players from not been turned from the glits and money of other top clubs.

I'm sure Rose is a Manchester lad if I'm right. He would be a great addition if we could steel him away.

Money. Fame. The prestige of playing for a super-club like Manchester United. To play under one of all time great managers in Guardiola or Mourinho. The perception that due to economic might City or United are a better bet long term. To train in some of the best facilities in world football.
