I agree. Not good offensively.
 
Same problems as last year. We'll comfortably score the least out of the top 6.
 
Can't wait for the actual match threads given it's like this in here for a friendly :nervous::wenger:

Bayern are better than us and basically have their strongest team and are at home. We want to win and trouble the opposition better than this but there's really no point us destroying ourselves in this temperature 5 days before the PL starts.

Again. Look at the difference to Sanchez on the other side. If you can't see it, I can't help tbh.
 
For a pre season friendly, this is as one-sided a game you're ever likely to watch. Trust Neuer will be playing up front sec half cos he doesn’t need to protect tge goal!
 
It’s a painful watch tbh, our counterattacks seem to always be so lacklustre with very few people joining in and the poor sods that went for it ending up badly outnumbered.
 
That was brutal to watch. We're solid at the back but offer absolutely nothing going forward. Sanchez and Rashford hasn't had the ball since the 20th minute and are dropping lower with every minute gone. We still can't play against teams that press us hard, and there's no progress in this team since last season, at least so far.

Will be a long, frustrating season ahead the way we are playing.

I don't believe that for a second. Worse teams than us have got results in meaningful games playing much more positive, on this ground. It's a friendly ffs!
 
Defending well here.
This is the problem with Rashford up top, his default mode is to run behind so we don't have anybody to build off of.

I dont get why are we sitting so deep and defending for our lives in a pointless friendly? :wenger:
 
Game plan is non existent. Dropping deep, but fail to be a threat on the counter. When we do try to counter, we only have like one player up top and end up getting outnumbered.
 
What drives me absolutely crazy that after ribery chance, the defender probably darmian who else had so much time to start an attack or take it oput of defence, instead he hoofs it to nowhere and bayern get the ball back in no time, what the fecking feck, are we playing in third league or what..
 
Maybe it is mentioned here but why is alexis captain? With dave, mata, herrera in squad
 
Bayern look much more up for it than we do. We look miserable, even without possession. Absolutely shameful performance
