Preseason Tour Game 1: Man Utd vs Club America (Friendly, Friday 20th July 03:00 BST)

There's nobody here basing their opinion off this one game though, that would be moronic. Plenty of these players have consistently shown that they aren't good enough.

And plenty of these players aren't even first choice.

Beautiful ball from Chong and then chaos. Herrera off the post and Mata scores after keeper lets it through

Whats your point. Its the first fecking game of pre season with mostly a second string team. Wise up ffs!

You started mocking people who thought McTominay was average based on what they've seen on him in his career. I'm arguing that such a belief is perfectly legitimate.

There is literally nobody basing their opinions on this meaningless match.

One thing with Pereira that sticks out (negatively) is that he pretty much plays it to the first run he sees. Even if it's a decoy run/not a great run, he'll try to force it to them. Sometimes just needs to slow himself down.

Chong showing some heart, grit and effort. Exactly what we need from pretty much everyone in the first team bar Lukaku tbh. I don't care if you don't have ability like Messi, no one does, but it's inexcusable being lazy.

All of his standout games were because of his defensive work imo

He's shown no/minimal ability on the ball since Jose brought him in.
He's better on the ball than you're giving him credit for. His usage of it and his close control particularly against Liverpool at OT (one of his best games) was very good. Surprised me actually. He's playing within himself under Mourinho as I believe there's more to his game.
