Premier League Not So Festive Season

That's a different argument. Sancho has probably made the right decision for himself and good luck to him. I'll be disappointed if Diaz goes, his development is of more concern to me than Foden. Foden has recently committed to City, could you get more concrete proof that his development and progress is satisfactory for all concerned?

Yeah I've got concrete proof that he's made an incorrect decision (like plenty before him) for short term gain rather than looking at future progress, as Sancho did. He was told he would not get time and left the club, much to his benefit.

You have no past track record of developing youth players, what more concrete proof do you need that players won't get given time with you? Nobody has and nobody will, because Pep need only click his fingers and bring in a 50m replacement without a second thought. You remind me so much of Chelsea fans who were so sure that their brilliant academy would bear fruit, but like all money clubs you have no real interest in actually giving opportunities to these players if it comes with even the smallest of short term risk.

I wonder how many minutes Foden will get today. 5? 10? If he's lucky. Most likely Saint Pep will bless him with a couple of minutes at the end, might even touch the ball.

Townsend! What a goal.. That's what football is all about

Being irritated when someone scores against City is a really sickening feeling.
