If David Luiz starts Liverpool's free-flowing attack could have a field day. They are also shit at the back. I am feeling a high scoring draw.

City will smash 4 or 5 past Bournemouth so no hopes for us there.

A draw between Chelsea and Liverpool would be perfect, and hopefully Hull can pull off a freak result somehow. Let's not have a weekend as crap as the last one please.

I think Chelsea-Liverpool will be an entertaining match, maybe a score draw.

Its hard to see how the aging backline Conte has favored will cope with Liverpool's pace up front. I assume they'll play Mane at RW, Firmino either CF or LW, and either Coutinho or Sturridge. The Terry/Cahill/Ivanovic trio is going to have a tough time with that group's quickness. On the other hand, I can see Kante and Matic bossing midfield and allowing Hazard, Costa, et al plenty of freedom to run wild on Liverpool's own suspect defense.

Terry is injured. Luiz will replace him.

A shame that Firmino is injured.. he got called up for the NT a few minutes ago, wonder if the coach knew it.

  • Liverpool (disappointed Firmino has a 'minor injury' and Karius doesn't start. Lovely to see Ejaria on the bench).

Mignolet, Clyne, Matip, Lovren, Milner, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Lallana, Coutinho, Mane, Sturridge #CFCvLFC

Substitutes: Karius, Lucas, Stewart, Origi, Moreno, Grujic, Ejaria.

    Chelsea

Courtois; Ivanovic (c), Cahill, David Luiz, Azpi; Kante; Willian, Oscar, Matic, Hazard; Costa.
  • Subs : Begovic, Alonso, Fàbregas, Pedro, Moses, Batshuayi, Aina

Wish they could both lose. As that's not possible, a draw will have to do.

I think both 'Pool and Chelsea will score tonight. Either a 3-2 Chelsea win, or a 2-2 draw.

After making such a guess, expect a 0-0 draw...

What's up with everyone saying that Liverpool attack is so strong and they will batter Chelsea? Their squad is basically the same as last season plus Mane. Chelsa squad is still superior to them in every department.

Disappointing that Firmino is out. I still think our attack is good enough to score, but it depends if we can keep Costa and Hazard quiet. Costa has been deadly in front of goal so far. Should be a great game either way.

I certainly don't think we will batter Chelsea but you are in denial if you think we don't have a strong attack. Liverpool have scored 50 goals in the PL in 2016 ... more than any other team.

Got our work cut out for us without firmino. Sturridge and Coutinho need to have big games

That Liverpool bench is extremely weak, could be the difference.

Anyone else see pedros face on the wrong body in subs line up

Liking the lights out at Stamford Bridge, could be fantastic at OT.

Anyone else notice the horrific photo shop of Pedro on the subs graphic?

Dippers showing more intent in the first couple of minutes than we did in the entire first half of the derby.

The Steve Gerrard song already. Gets me every time.

They're showing the complete opposite style of play, yeah.

No idea why Ivanovic did that, daft free kick to give away.

Maybe it's because I'm really tired, but this game seems so slow and boring?

Was the build up as bad as last time's Friday Night Football?
I only caught the last ten minutes, but Carragher and Souness were absolutely boiling piss about David Luiz tweeting this:
With Carragher saying he'd have benched him if he was manager and saw his player doing that.

So... Yeah, I think it was as bad.
