Premier League Matchweek 22 (Jan 21-22)

Did you not think it was offside for the second pen?

Yes, after seeing it, it did look offside but the resultant high kick you couldn't argue with.
Arsenal got the rub of the green.

Too bad you guys voted for Brexit, or else the PL could have employed some foreign refs and linesmen.

This is getting plain silly now.

Lucky Arsenal. Everytime I watch Arsenal they play like garbage but somehow, always manage to force the ball into the net, either by cheating, offside, or just a lucky piece of shit goal. I hope we destroy them when we meet them next.

I think the ref got it all right today, but the linesman missed quite an obvious offside. I feel like that's how a lot of United games have gone this season when we've been pushing hard for the winning goal, but I would put money on us not getting the same decision there at the death.

Arsenal do the same every season, they fold like a cheap suit when the title fight is on, and then suddenly their bottlers find their nuts again to scramble a top 4 spot, it's like that Tom Cruise movie where he repeats the same war over and over.

Moss is hopeless, however the red was right, both pens were right but the lino let him down with the offside.

Trust me european refs are bad all around. We should start signing refs from South America :lol::lol:

There's no way Arsenal win the league, but they're not finishing outside the top 4. I don't think any other team has the luck they have whilst being so mediocre.

cept against Liverpool :)

I can probably count on one hand the amount of really decent Arsenal performances in the last decade, they just seem to always beat the lesser sides

This has been a crazy season for Arsenal in terms of luck, this is without doubt the worst they have played in the last 6-8 seasons but they have had so much luck it is beyond belief. Keep believing that it will catch up with them but it just doesn't seem to stop.

So do refs.
I'm not saying it never happens, but I've never seen a ref overrule his assistant for an offside decision in this kind of scenario.
It'll occasionally happen for other reasons (e.g. interfering with play, defender playing the final pass) but not like today.
