Premier League - Matchday 14

Teams are now scared of the corner routine, players are just freezing.

Arsenal are basically an expensive version of a Tony Pulis team.

Feels like a parallel universe seeing this kind of set piece dominance from Arsenal of all teams

Every corner….the block and push to free up a player to head the ball

I can't comment in the actual match thread, but I'm surprised people think it's only United Arsenal are doing this to at corners. It's quite literally their only method of getting them goals  they'll never get even remotely close to a trophy playing this brand of football but they'll be a comfortable top 4 battler for a few years.

Cheering Antony coming on is not very nice from the crowd

Who would have thought Arsenal would implement Tony Pulis brand of football on a cold Wednesday night, the stuff of nightmares and everything Wenger detested..

BBC saying that is 22 goals from corners from arsenal this season.

They've scored 28 goals. Love to know how many of those six goals were scored in open play and not from other set pieces and penalties m

They just smashed West Ham for 5 away from home.

With Odegaard and Saka both fit, they're probably the most entertaining team in the league.
And our main hope of stopping Liverpool.

I can't believe people are overlooking Chelsea.

Shut the feck up, most entertaining team in the league, you have to be taking the piss

refs seem oblivious to the pushing and grabbing in the boxes. There's little to no VAR checks. It's bizarre

Surley that 22 is across all games not just the league.

A manager really needs to come out and call the Arsenal dirty tactics out and ask why VAR and referees are turning a blind eye to it.

From Dark Arts to Dirty Tactics. Can't wait for the third volume of the trilogy

They love an obstruction at set pieces and refs have no taste for calling it m

Dont think stoke were this good ever. It's all about unlocking the defense.

Mazraoui and Malacia looked very good, Odegaard and Saka were marked out of the game. Amorim was spot on with tactics, it's just Arsenal have plan B.

@SilentWitness you're about to have a big say on the title race. Next four games:

Liverpool (h)
Arsenal (a)
Chelsea (h)
City (a)

I think they're about to have a big 0/12 and maybe a new manager.
I mean I expect them to get tonked at Arsenal and City. We have a patchy record there recently.

Arsenal = stoke
We are back to the George Graham era……
Effective but utterly boring and may even win a PL (hopefully not)

We should be 10-1 up. I imagine this will be the biggest xg of the year so far.
I believe this is the 4th biggest xg in the last 13 years in the PL.

Some of our misses were criminal

Should’ve have at least 8 today.

Arsenal play much more fluid football than we do, to call them Stoke is shameless. They just don't have a clinical striker, similar to us.

Sitting in the Upper stand at the Emirates behind the corner flag this second half was one of the most entertaining halves of football I can remember. We almost scored from five or six of them in a row.
